I still am driving way over the speed limit but they manage to go as fast as me. And everyturn I make they make its 2x faster.
Im in some big trouble.
I finally go with my gut to make a U turn going 90 mph. Then I hit the gas driving right past them and little did I know police spotted them but not me.
So I safely get out of this hell bound.

"Start talking now." I say walking into the hotel room to see Derek laying on the bed watching tv
"What are you talking about?" He says getting up noticing I am very pissed off
"Your dad. What does he want from me?" I say pushing him back as he walks towards me
"Carter, what happened?" Derek says throwing his hands up
"Your dad almost kill me!" I yell as we hear a bang on the door
"Carter" Derek whispers to me "Run. Take all your family and run go back home. Now" He says as I grab my bag and sneak through the connected doors to Chad Carly, Jordin, and Parkers room
They seemed to already know what was going. So we all left.

Jordin and Parker drive in the car in front of us. Us as in Chad, Carly, and I.
"So he told you guys everything before we even got here?" I ask them confused
See now Derek, told everyone the drill before we even got to Florida.. Which pisses me off
"Yes" Chad says annoyed meaning I have asked like a hundred times
"I just." I say so confused on what to think about all of this
"I know" Carly says turning backwards and rubbing my leg smiling at me to comfort me
I want Derek. I want to know if he is ok.
"Wheres Derek?" I ask them
With that they both look at eachother and give me no answer.
So I am irrelevant..

It had been 2 weeks since Florida and everything was so different. I hadnt seen Derek since and everytime I mention him the mood just blows. Chad and Carly have been acting weird whenever they do hang out. But for Jordin and Parker things seem better than ever.
"So. Whats the race tonight? " I ask Carly as we lay on my couch beeing bums watching tv
"Can we not go to one tonight? " She says kind of moody
"Sure thing" I say totally shocked about it
"Thanks Carter" She says trying to smile but I can still see she is pretty pained
"So what exactly is going on with you and Chad?" I ask starting to cuddle her
"He doesnt say anything, and when I asked him what was wrong he just ignored me." She says stopping herself then redeeming "I think he might be cheating" She says crying on my shoulder
"Well, Derek had sex with me then never talks to me again" I say as she raises her head
"Im sorry" She says as I keep my tears back
"Its fine. But I need some air" I say changing into jeans and a sweatshirt and sunglasses "We are finding out whats going on" I say to Carly as she puts on a hat, sweat shirt, jeans, and sunglasses like me
"Are we spying?" She says nudging me "This is so exciting" She says smiling and we drive my dads old rusty car worth nothing but at least it still works

"GET SET GO!" The usual slutty girl says waving the flag as only two cars go
"I see Chad!" Carly says pointing at Chad and his dick friends that care more about their hair than racing.
"What the hell are they doing here?" I say pointing at his friends
"He is lonely. He can never come alone" She says rolling her eyes
"Oh" I say dropping the subject
Then two girls walk towards Chad starting to rub his chest. Then she whispers in his ear and they walk in the back towards me and Carly
"This should be good" She says rubbing her hands together but also bothered about it
"Come on Chad. Carly is a hoe. Every girl here wants you" The girl as he just walks away from her
"She isnt a hoe" He says
"Well then what the hell is going on between you two?" She says "I can always make her go away" The girl says playing with her gum in her mouth
"No, stop. I love Carly" He says walking away towards us and the girl walks the other way
"Shit" I say as me and Carly run the other way. But me being me I trip
"Carter?" Chad says putting a flash on us and shocked
"Hey, babe" Carly says smiling at him
"Yeah, what are you two doing?" Chad says
"We were spying. I thought you were cheating so we just.." Carly starts to say but Chad stops her
"I would never. Honestly thought you were cheating and I didnt want to confront you" He says hugging her waist
"So we're good?" Carlys says as they start to make out but stop and look at me "I have a ride. Thank you Carter, I love you" She says kissing him again
"Haha, no problem" I say walking to the car cant help but smile and think I helped solve something
Carter you're so stupid
"Hello?" I say as a man stands by my dads crappy car
But when I say that the man turns ever so slightly and runs off. I dont even try to chase him.
That was weird...
