Its been a month since Tokyo. We all fell out of touch with Chad just to give him time. People talk and know about everything that happened in Tokyo. We all havnt raced since.
Jordin and Parker are still trying for a baby. But its been nothing but a dead end.
Chad got a full time job at Parkers car shop and he doesnt really talk is what Parker says
Me and Derek decided to stop what we were doing and call quits on it all. From what I hear he has been seeing someone that also races.
"Goodmorning" I say to Chad at the shop as he works on a car bringing him some breakfast "Got you something"
"Thank You" He says eating the food
"How are you holding up?" I ask holding back tears
"Slowly but processing it all, really" He says
"Yeah. How is the shop?" I ask
"I mean people dont come in anymore because of the whole situation. They feel its best to give us space" He says
"That exactly what they feel" I say
"Exuse me?" A man at the desk says as we walk over to him
"What can I do for you today?" Chad says leaning on the counter
"Chad, and Carter" The man says
Chad gets up from the counter and stands straight up
"Yes, who is asking?" I ask the man
"Just, nevermind" The man says "You guys dont happen to race anymore do you?" He ask us
"Sorry" Chad says
"That to bad" The man says leaving
"How many people come in here asking you that?" I ask Chad
"At least one a day" He says going back to his food in the back garage
"Do you think you'll ever get on the road again?" I ask him
"I dont know" Chad says
"That makes both of us" I say

"Hello" I say to Jordin as she sits on the couch watching tv
"Hey" She says not even looking at me and her voice seemed shakey
"Everything ok?" I ask
She runs out and Parker walks in
"Still no luck?" I ask Parker
"No, its killing her. She just wants a normal life" Parker says following her in the other room
*Doorbell Rings*
"Hello?" I ask answering the door
"Hey, can we come in?" Derek ask with a girl wrapped around his arm
"Sure, make yourself at home" I say opening the door for them
"How are things?" Derek ask as the girl looks around the house
"Alright, who is this" I ask giving him the look smiling with a wink
She says smiling "Emily" as she shakes my hand
"Carter" I say in responce

As we all catch up on Dereks life. He did meet Emily a drag racing race but she doesnt race..
"It was good seeing you again Carter" Derek says as Emily walks to the car
"You too. Im happy for you" I say to Derek as we both watch Emily then look at eachother again
"Well, hang in there" He says giving me a hug and then leaving
Too bad Im not going to a race with Carly and Chad, and cheering Derek as he races.
I miss you guys.
