Next morning, Aashi woke up, stretched and yawned. As she opened her eyes she noticed her laptop open. She wondered why Suchitra didn't switch it off. Slowly, she climbed down and walked towards the laptop. She looked around for her friend. But Suchitra was nowhere to be seen.

Quickly, Aashi got ready and stepped out of her room dressed for work in an ink blue ruffle shirt and black cigarette pants.

Aashi spotted Suchitra in the open kitchen. She was busy making breakfast.

'Hey.' She greeted her.

'Hey.' Suchitra looked up from the Omelet she was making. The girls passed smiles at each other.

'Guess what I found.' Suchitra said walking towards the table with two plates of Omelet.

'What?' Aashi asked placing toasts on their plates

'That man with Laila isn't her father.' She said taking her seat opposite Aashi.

'So? Must be her Uncle.' Aashi said cutting a morsel of the Omelet.

Suchitra smirked, she paused for dramatic effect.

'What?' Aashi shrugged feeding herself a morsel of toast and omelet

Suchitra shifted closer and said, - 'He is her husband.'

Aashi's mouth dropped open. Suchitra's smirk widened.

'I made a fake account, of a boy, a made-up rich man and send her the friend request and she accepted it...and then I stalked her profile and found out. She married this man, Dinesh Singhal, five years ago.'

Aashi blinked at Suchitra, then she thought five years ago, Rishabh had quit his job and joined MBA in London.

'They have their own three-year-old son, Dominic and a teen daughter, Tisha from Dinesh's first marriage.' Suchitra said placing Omelet over the toast. Aashi was blown away.

'But she is half his age. Why will she marry someone like him?' Aashi asked.

'He is a millionaire. He owns many five-star hotels all over India and abroad. Laila always had a liking towards finer things.' Suchitra said with a naughty grin.

Aashi shook her head. Laila, since College, used to be with boys that would make her popular and give her all the attention, but she didn't know Laila was a gold digger too. For money and popularity, she has married a man who is double her age. She felt bad for her. Though the photo said something, she knew Laila might be miserable.

Aashi sighed, she shouldn't judge her, whatever Laila does was her problem. But one thing that disturbed her was - Why did Rishabh lie? Had they married and then divorced or she left him without marriage? She began thinking.

At Office, as Aashi and Himanshu walked towards the elevator they saw Rishabh waiting for the elevator.

'Hey, Good morning, Rishabh.' Himanshu greeted him happily. Rishabh turned around and smiled too.

'Good morning, Himanshu-' He looked at Aashi and added, - 'and Aashi.'

Aashi simply nodded acknowledging his greetings. When she looked at Rishabh she felt bad for him. Laila had been so unfair to him, life had been so unfair to him. Sadly, his best friend, wasn't there to give him a shoulder to cry. Aashi looked away sadly.

Himanshu noticed her sad face but didn't say anything in presence of Rishabh. Quietly, the three stood in the elevator with other employees. Silently, Aashi and Rishabh stepped out of the elevator. Rishabh looked at her, but she didn't and turned around walking towards her cabin. Rishabh watched her go wondering if everything was alright.
