trigger warning: rape

There's a guard that stands outside every one of my sibling's rooms at night. Including mine.

I was dead asleep so I never heard him come in.

I never felt him climb on top of me.

I did wake up when he started raping me.

He never saw me grab the knife Tyrion told me to keep under my pillow.

"Just in case," he told me.

He never saw me take my knife and stab him in his neck.

Now he's on my floor.

Dead.

My hand is covered in blood.

My gown.

My sheets.

I don't know what to do.

I just killed someone.

For the first time ever.

I run around the castle barefoot still holding the bloody knife, crying.

I find Jaime outside my father's door.

I run up to him.

He grabs my shoulders, "Scarlett what the hell happened?"

"I really need your help."

We run back to my room and he sees the dead knight on my floor.

"I need you to tell me what happened."

I can barely get out the words, "He raped me."

Jaime walks over to me and hugs me.

"Okay you need to change and get the blood off your hands, I'll get the body out of here."

"Thank you, Jaime."

"Anything for you Scarlett."

Jaime gets rid of the body and I get rid of my gown, I never want to see it again.

I wake up from my nap drenched in sweat. That night was a few months ago and it will haunt me for the rest of my life.

No one has even noticed the knight has gone missing but every day I fear someday someone will notice.

My mother burst through the door.

"What is it?" I ask.

"It's your father."

I follow my mother into a room where my father is laying there dying.

My uncle Renly and the maester are here.

I feel my eyes slowly fill with tears

"What happened?" I ask

"He was attacked by a boar," my mother says.

Ned Stark enters at the same time my father sends Joffrey out of the room.

I'm standing next to my mother.

This is the longest we've gone without yelling a each other.

"My fault," my father says, "Too much wine, missed my thrust."

Ned moves the blanket to see the wound the boat left on my father.

"It stinks," my father says, "It stinks like death. Don't think I can't smell it."
