We reached the end of the pathway, sitting in front of us was a large wooden house. Log cabin looking, but also very modern. This is where they live? Or where they keep people?

To the left of the house was a lake leading to behind the house, small but looked to be recently swam in, towels hanging from the surrounding trees suggest that. Is this what they do? Take a swim and then go shoot up a school and kidnap girls? What a life

To the right of the house was a pile of wood, I'm assuming a bonfire type of structure. Chairs and blankets surrounded the sticks and logs.

"Hello?" A hand waved in front of my face. Zac's hand. He laughs at my confusion.

"Taking in the view I see. Not much of one considering we're in the middle of nowhere." He put emphasis on nowhere - he wants me to know there is no escape.

All of the boys went inside of the house, Max still behind myself and Sara pushing us inside as well. The disgusting smell of smoke and nicotine hitting my nostrils, I coughed taking it all in.

"Welcome home!" Jesse grinned while bowing to my surprise.

Home.

I gulped.

I can just turn around and run. I can. I can do it.

A hand grabbed mine and it wasn't Sara's.

"Sit." Zac spat. He motioned to the couch in the middle of the floor.

I walked over, Sara still following close by. We sat on the couch. It was orange. Who the hell owns an orange couch? I almost laughed at my thought. I have been kidnapped and yet I'm judging them for their taste in furniture.

Most everyone else sat in the surrounding chairs, Jesse and mystery boy leaned against the wall. Zac stayed standing making sure he was in everyone field of vision.

"So as you probably have figured out by now, my name is Zac. I'm the leader of this little group." He smirked. He seemed proud.

"You've met Jesse and Max." Both of them waved and nodded. This is sick. We've been taken and they're waving like we're meeting for the first time at some friend gathering.

"And my little brother" He almost couldn't keep a straight face while looking at Sara. Why? What was his little brother going to do to Sara?

"And that's Cole" My head turned to the nameless boy who no longer was nameless. Cole. He didn't wave or nod. He just starred at me. Okay??

"The rules are simple" Rules?

"Rules?" I stated not realizing it was aloud.

"Let me finish." Zac now looked angry.

Note to self: Don't interupt him.

"No running, no talking back, no disobeying whatever I say or anyone else says. If any of these are broken it will result in a punishment. If you do decide to run away and somehow manage to make it past us and through those doors." He says pointing to the front doors.

"You will die. We won't kill you, nature will do that for us."

Sara held onto my arm tighter.

"We have bears, wolves, below freezing temps at night. You won't survive out there. The trees go on for miles."

I looked down. He was lying wasn't he? To scare us into not trying anything? What does he mean by punishment? No talking back? What are they going to make us do?

"Girls!" Zac shouted. We looked up at him but he wasn't looking at us. He wasn't talking to us.

Two girls came out from behind one of the many doors that I could see from the couch. One was dark skinned with dark hair and the other was blonde like Sara. Both with brown eyes. The dark haired girl stood next to Jesse and the blonde next to Zac. They put their arms around them and the girls smiled. Something about their smiles made me sick to my core.

Something about their smiles seemed off. It seemed fake.

"What is this?" I stood up. Now pissed off. I need to sit back down. Sit Emily. This isn't going to help  anything. I could feel every bone in my body trying to sit me back down on the ugly orange couch, but my mind had different plans. Before I knew it I was yelling everything that I have felt since being thrown into the white van that drove my friend and I away from the safety of out school.

"You can't just take people and bring them here expecting them to be what? You're girlfriends? Are you insane?! This is sick." I couldn't help myself I turned making sure I looked into everyone's eyes as I was talking. Cole wouldn't meet mine, he looked to the ground as I spoke.

"See. I told you she was feisty." Zac laughed raising his arms to Cole.

"Is that it? I'm his?" I asked harshly. I can't believe I was in this situation. Everyone around me seemed so calm. Even Sara was just looking at me with puppy dog eyes that are telling me to stop before I dig us into a deeper hole.

"You said it sweetheart. Not me" Zac now grinned leaving the room entering a long and dark hallway with the blonde wrapped around his arm.

Jesse and his girl also disappeared. Max trailing off after them.

"Come on baby." Alec rushed over to the couch pulling Sara up by the hair. She tried to be quiet but I could tell it was hurting her.

"Hey!" I was still standing trying to now get between them once again.

"Back off Bitch." Alec practically spit his words in my face.

"Dude. Just take her and go." Cole speaking for the first time coming off from the wall.

Before I could protest more Sara was being taken behind another mystery door calling for me to help her. I could no longer hear what was happening when the door closed.

I felt my heart beat start to become numb again. At this point I wish my heart would just stop completely.

I looked at the front doors of this house. They weren't far away. I could make a run for it now, run like hell and find my way out of these woods. I could get help and bring it back for Sara. And those other girls, who knows how long they've been here.

"Don't." Cole spoke finally looking at me in the eyes.

"He wasn't lying. You won't make it out of those woods alive." His head turned to the side. He nodded for me to follow him.

I ran to the door, putting my hand on one of the knobs.

"I said don't." A hand caught my shoulder and turned me around.

Cole now standing an inch away from my face. His hands are pushed on the door and holding me in place, there was no room move out of this position.

He looked at me with anger. Not the same anger I had seen in Zac. The type of anger like you're mad at yourself, not someone else.

I could feel a lump in my throat. I wasn't going to cry. I was scared out of my mind, but I was not going to show it. If I show weakness he'll probably use that to his advantage knowing I'm scared of him. His hot breath falling onto my face, it warmed my lips. It calmed me.

He backed off nodding his head again for me to follow him. I moved from the door now walking slowly after Cole.

Where was he taking me?
