We reached the end of yet another hallway in this seemingly never ending house. There were stairs leading up and I continued to follow him to another end of a hallway where a single door stood open and Cole walked through it.

When I entered the room I could feel the wind as the door closed behind me. I heard a lock turn and a key being tossed into a box. I was too late turning around to see where exactly Cole had put the key, but I know there was one, the knob has a key hole.

I gulped swallowing every bit of saliva I had left, my mouth pretty much dry from the events today. My throat with a constant lump.

"What's going to happen to her?" I stood still. My back still turned to Cole

"She'll be fine."

"I didn't ask if she'd be fine. I asked what was going to happen to her." I slowly turned around. My hands in a fist, my eyes looking straight into Cole's.

He smirked. "I know what you asked." He walked past me, my head followed.

I scanned the room we were in. It was big but not huge. There were two doors, one open and leading to a bathroom and the other slightly closed, it looked to be a walk in closet. A medium sized bed sat in the middle of the room. Cole was in front of it looking out of the window that also stood in front of the bed. The room was bare. Cold. It hardly looked lived in.

"Alec won't hurt her." Cole interrupted my mind of scanning the room for more details.

"Unless she breaks the rules." He continued.

"We don't hurt girls unless we have to."

"Have to?!" I shouted walking towards Cole. He quickly turned his body towards mine preparing for an attack.

I didn't realize how tall he was. I stopped and stood about a foot away from his body looking up into his eyes. They were calm. I could tell by the laugh he let out while looking into mine that my eyes probably were not calm. Anger, disgust, and fear is what I assume filled them.

"You wouldn't have to hurt anyone if you didn't kidnap people!" I said not breaking eye contact.

"If we didn't - we would be the ones getting hurt, princess." His lips curls as he called me that.

I backed up. Princess? Who did he think he was? No one is allowed to give me a nickname except my friends and Katie.

Katie. I hope she's okay.

I looked down at the floor. Are there people looking for me? For Sara? Do the police have any leads? If I somehow managed to escape and run in the woods would anyone hear me scream for help?

"Don't think you can get away with shouting at me." Cole spoke softly lifting my chin up with his finger. His hand around my face I stayed still. What was he doing? This is creepy. Is this a flirty look he's giving me?

"I'll be back." He winked. He left the room. Panic started to set in.

I have to remain cool. I can't show emotion. I kept telling myself that everything would be okay. I need to find a way out of here. I walked over to the window looking for a way to open it.

It was tall, touching the floor all the way to the ceiling. A blue curtain hung from the top to the bottom but was tied to the sides and out of the way. No way to open the window. There wasn't any way to get out of this room. I looked around for something to break the window with.

Nothing was in the bathroom, except for a tooth brush and under the sink was extra toilet paper. I looked at my reflection in the mirror. A tear fell from my eye and into my mouth. Salty. Who was I looking at? The dream that I woke up from not even 3 hours ago ran through my mind. What would my life be like if my mother hadn't died? Would I still have been in this situation?
