if you look carefully into the sky,
and squint with all your might
until your eyelashes tangle together
and you can just barely see
perhaps you will be one of the lucky few to spotstar giants.
now, you must have patience
they're elusive and quick,
and glow so brightly
it hurts to look at them.don't fret,
they're my friends—
and they're your friends too.
they watch over the planets
to make sure you are happy and safe.no matter how ferocious they may look,
they like cradling me in their palms
and smiling toothy smilesmade of asteroids, of course.
they're ever so kind,
and steer me away from black holes.— it's important to keep friends who care for you close (and if they pull you away from black holes, even better!)
