lunar rabbits;
softly glowing fur,
cunning eyes.i had to find another hiding spot—
somewhere quiet and secluded,
far away from intruders
and
intrusive thoughts that plague my dreams,
leaving me reeling
overthinking
overwhelmed.i found myself floating to saturn,
angrily murmuring under my breath
for my safe space was taken from me
and i felt lost again, like I was drifting
mindlessly with no purpose.
with no meaning.saturn heard my silent, bellowing cry
beckoned me closer,
with a listening ear and soothing sounds
that i didn't quite understand.so, i've found:
if you want to take a nap—
one that melts away your worries and
fills your mind with blissful hopefind saturn's rings.
it's a delightful spot to curl up
and slide away to sleep.believe it or not
the rings sing me a little lullaby;
something high pitched and tender
that makes my eyelids flutter shut
and dream of stars and constellations
and the vastness of the unknown.if saturn is too far away
listen to a song;
something quiet and soft
and wrap your body in something warm
all the way up to your ears.let the darkness consume you,
let it ease your senses and
fill your soul with
saturn's heartfelt song.— maybe in your dreams, you will visit me! i'll be waiting for you.
