the journey through life is dangerous.
it is full of
twisting paths that lead to wrong places
and mountains that seem impossible to climb.
you will encounter
darkness so thick and imposing
it might feel as if you'll never find
a light strong enough to push it away.
it will be scary,
not knowing something will happen,
until the very moment it happens.
i only speak the truth when i tell you
it will be hard to navigate
the black holes
and hurling meteors
and the imminent solar flares
but i know-
no, i am certain
that it will all be worth it in the end.
yes, life will bring you so much sadness
but so much joy, too
what matters most
is that the good
always outweighs the bad.
though the bad may be scary,
remember what I told you a while ago:
the bad is nothing but a speck
in the infinity that is life.
the good will come again,
brighter and more powerful
than the bad ever was
and you will see
that your memories will be filled
with laughter and smiles,
with friendship and love.
there will be so much good in your life.
