{ Andrea's POV }

I walk out to the bathroom only to realize that Nicolás is standing by my door.

"What are you doing in here?" I ask him

"I have a question to ask." He says walking closer to me until he's standing so close that we're touching.

"Can I kiss you?"
He asks me quietly with a husky voice

I give him a nod telling him yes.

He leans in and says
"It's all I can think about. I can't seem to get you out of my mind Angel."

"Then do it." I say and I lean closer and grab his face and he grabs mine.

Our bodies touching, and our lips moving together. There is nothing like this moment.

Nothing but pure fire.

It's unclear of who really kissed who first but I don't really care.

Everything seems to fade when his lips are on mine.

I wake up and it's still dark outside. Perfect!
I'm laying beside Nicolás who is still sleeping... so I have to carefully get out of bed and get dressed.

I'm determined that I'm not going to let anyone else die because of me. I go downstairs where I see Luis standing by the door like he knew I would try this.

"Isla knows you like the back of her hand."
Luis says to me quietly

"Apparently." I reply quieter

A moment of silence passes and I look at Luis and question "Are you here to try and stop me?"

"No. I have to admit I was wrong and didn't understand you until Isla and Bart explained things. It helped me look at you from a different perspective." Luis replies

"What are you doing standing here then?"
I ask him curiously

"I'm here to help you." Luis answers

"I don't need or want your help." I tell him

"No but I want too." Luis says

"Why?" I question

"Because as loco as it might sound you remind me of me." Luis says

————

Luis walks with me out of the mansion, and on our way to the cells. Where I'm going to visit Jason.
It's either going to go great or it's not and I'll end up even more haunted than before.

"Why do I remind you of yourself?" I ask him

"I didn't have the greatest or easiest upbringing. My parents weren't the greatest influences, and the people they were around were even worse." Luis says

"How so?" I question

"My father was working with people in the sex trafficking ring in Mexico, and my mother would do anything to have more money and drugs. Neither of them loved me the way parents should. My father  when he was drunk would beat me...although at least he cared enough about me to protect me from men my mother brung around, and he didn't sell me to his partners. I didn't run away because I knew if I did that my little sister would've been hurt if not sold and worse." Luis explains
