Illumi's POV

"(Y/n)... (Y/n) (L/n)?" I absent-mindedly uttered under my breath.

"oh.. do you know my mother, Mr. Long hair?" The little girl in my arms asked.

"Yes, I do."

"Really? that's great!"

"by any chance, Is this the necklace you've been looking for?" I asked showing the necklace I've been keeping.

"Yes! that's the necklace I was looking for--" She exclaimed but then she paused, before looking at me with those confused (E/c) orbs.

"Why did you have that Mr. Long hair?" she asked, expecting me to tell her the truth, and so I did.

"This necklace fell off earlier, I picked it up because it seems familiar," I answered.

"Familiar? " She questioned, "how?"

"Because I was the one who gave this to your mothe--" before I can even finish my sentence, it was interrupted by the voice I have been desperately searching for.

"Lerissa!"

(Y/n)'s POV

"Lerissa!" I yelled as soon as I found the presence of my little daughter, I quickly rush towards her spot but suddenly stop when I noticed that someone was carrying her.

'Is this why detecting Lerissa's presence feel off earlier?' I questioned mentally.

I felt another familiar presence, a very familiar one but I brushed it off because finding Lerissa comes first.

"(Y-Y/n)?" "M-Mother!" Lerissa, and the man holding her, called out in unison. waking me up from my freezing state,

"E-Eri!" Laris Yelled out of relief when he saw his younger twin-sister, rushing towards Illumi to get a closer look at Lerissa.

"A-Ari!" Lerissa also exclaimed as she whispered something from her carrier,

"L-Lerissa, come here.." I motioned her to come to me, but seems like the man holding her has no intention of letting my daughter go...

3rd Person's POV

"Mr. Long-hair, can you put me down now? " Lerissa asked the long-haired man, The famous Long-haired Assassin of Zoldyck's, Illumi.

"Yeah, let my sister go Mister! although I'm glad you find her but you better get your hands off my sister!" Laris said towards Illumi, who's now in front of him,

'w-wait Laris don't talk like that to your--' (Y/n) mentally said,

"Is that So?" Illumi asked, kneeling again to be with Laris height level, still holding Lerissa in his arms, then patting the little white-haired boy using his other free hand.

"I-Illumi..." (Y/n) mumbled, looking at her twins and their father, the three of them altogether, She got teary-eyed, not imagining that this scene will be able to come true. after a few seconds passed, Illumi also carried Laris, surprising the little kid before he walks towards the mother of the two.

"(Y/n)..." Illumi called out when he came face to face with his long-lost lover, his eyes showing lots of different emotions, (Y/n) Avoiding his gaze, She felt guilty for leaving behind Illumi without hearing his explanation,

She now learned the truth, that it was Dominic's plan to make them separated from each other, that she think it was a success because of her stupidity, judging what she saw with her eyes and closing her mind from hearing the other side of the story,

"Can we talk?" he asked the Woman in front of him, (Y/n) answered by a small nod,

"Are they mine?" he continued, waiting for the (H/c)'s girl answer.

"what do you mean we are yours, Mr. Long-hair?" Lerissa and Laris asked Illumi.

"Y-Yes..." (Y/n) whispered, with her response almost inaudible,

"then w-why did you not tell me?--" Illumi questioned, Pain is showing from his eyes.

"I-I tried Illumi, B-But..."

"No, W-We won't be able to talk while the kids are here." (Y/n) tried to explain but stop when she realizes that it is not good for the kids to hear their conversation, so she tried to take the children from him, but he won't budge,

"Let go of them Illumi.."(Y/n) Pleaded,

"I won't let go of them (Y/n), I am their father, Please don't also do this to me.."

"F-Father?" Lerissa and Laris asked in unison before looking at their mother for confirmation, "Is h-he our father, mother?" Laris asked but (Y/n) avoided answering her son for a while,

"I am not going to take them away from you Illumi, let's just talk to clarify the things between the both of us, and I don't the children to hear this matter." (Y/n) explained,

"Mother, is he really our father?" Lerissa asked again the same question his brother did,

"I'm going to tell you later, but before that, we'll need to bring you first to granny's house, okay?" Their (H/c) hair mother assured them, making the two nodded their heads,

"(Y/n)! My dear, My lovely grandchildren, Laris and Leriss-" Mother greeted us but halfway stop when she saw who am I together with,

"hmm.. I see, C'mmon Laris and Lerissa, Granny (M/n) baked some cookies in the kitchen, shall we go?" Mother commented after giving me and the man beside me a hovering gaze,

'I am hoping for the both of you to clear things out.' the message I can convey from her gaze, soon after they're gone, Silence envelopes the both of us.

"We should also go," I heard him saying, making me look at him,

"huh? go where? we just need to talk so why go anywhere else?" I asked confusedly,

"We are not going to talk here, (Y/n). I'm afraid that I might kill one of your mother's servants for eavesdropping, So we're going to talk in a more private place, Just the two of us." He stated before pulling my arms and disappearing into the thin air.
