Ch. 20 "Daddy's home"

                                                       Brooke POV 

It was the next day and Bucky made pancakes for breakfast, me and Bucky were eating breakfast when we heard the elevator ding, 

I see Daddy walk out of the elevator, 

I jump out of my chair, 

"Daddy!" I said excited 

Daddy kneeled down picking me up, 

"Were you good for Bucky my little Star?" Daddy asked 

I nodded, 

We played all kinds of games and I showed him my favorite movie, and.." I kept going on and on at what all we did while he was away, 

"Sounds fun my little Star," Daddy said 

"Welcome back punk," Bucky said to daddy, 

"Thanks," Daddy said as he chuckled 

"How did it go?" Bucky asked 

"Well plenty of HYDRA either behind bars or sleeping," Daddy said 

"Sleeping?" Tony said 

"He means dea-" But Tony was cut off by Nat smacking him in the back of the head, 

"Tony, Child present," Nat said 

"Well the kid is gonna have to learn some time," Tony said 

Everyone glared at him, including Bucky, 

"Learn what?" I said tilting my head as I was still in daddy's arms, 

"Don't worry about it squirt," Bucky said ruffling my hair, 

Daddy set me down, 

"Why don't you go finish breakfast while me and Bucky go talk about something okay," Daddy said 

"Okay," I said walking back into the kitchen 

Tony walked towards the lab Clint went to his room, Thor was grabbing some pop tarts, 

"Would you like one little Maiden?" Thor said 

"Yeah," I said clapping my hands 

Just as Thor was about to hand me one, Bucky grabbed the pop tart,

"Oh no she doesn't need an overload of sugar, I made that mistake on day one of babysitting," Bucky said 

I pouted 

"How can you say no to that face," Nat said 

"Once you witness her sugar rush then you can," Bucky said 

I finished breakfast and walked down the hallway holding my Iron man toy, I see Peter walking 

"Peter!" I said running to him, 

"Hey little bird, what you doing?" He said 

"I'm board can we do that thing with your web again," I said 

You see I was on a sugar rush the one time while Peter was babysitting me, and he shot a web at me just before I was about to hit the ground falling off the counter it was fun! I thought 

"Uh," He paused 

"What web thing?" Daddy asked from behind me, 

"Uh, oh look at the time I'm late for umm my date!" He said running down the hall, 

Daddy picked me up, 

"Come on Brooke it's your nap time," He said carrying me, 

"But I'm not sleepy," I said resting my head on his shoulder 

"I know but you know the rules," He said and that's when my eyelids slowly fluttered shut,
