Grimlock (voiced by Greg Berger)
Leader of the Dinobots, Grimlock is a brutish, prideful warrior with a temper. him and his fellow Dinobots were once members of a now-extinct order of protectors known as the Knights of Cybertron who once served under the nameless 13th prime before they were captured and experimented on by the Decepticon scientist Shockwave who spliced their genetic makeup with that of the DNA of ancient reptiles he collected from prehistoric Earth in an attempt to create what he believed to be the next stage in transformer evolution (possible Beast Wars foreshadowing?) giving them bestial alt-modes based on Earth's Dinosaurs and dubbing them Dinobots, however Grimlock and his fellow Dinobots rebelled and resisted Shockwave's control, escaping on their spacecraft the Knightship which crash-landed on Prehistoric earth where they remained in stasis for 65 million years, the Knightship crashing into what would one day become Antarctica where their ship remained buried in ice before they were awakened from their slumber by Optimus pulling the Star Saber out of its pedestal. Optimus had to best Grimlock in a one-on-one fight in order to prove he is truly the reincarnation of the 13th prime like he says he is, earning the respect of the Dinobot leader. Shockwave's forced experimentation left the Dinobots completely removed of their sentience, acting on primal instinct like a bunch of wild animals save for Grimlock who's reduced intelligence limits his speech pattern to always referring to himself in the third-person as a callback to the original animated series. he transforms into a mechanical Tyrannosaurus Rex large enough for Optimus Prime to ride on. NOTE: Grimlock is the only Dinobot I casted a voice actor for because the other four don't have speaking roles, hence why I didn't bother casting them.
