Third person POV

Alexandra sat on the grass, thinking about her life and how she had gotten here to this moment right now. The wind making the plants in the garden sway almost as if they were dancing and the sun shone brightly, illuminating and highlighting her naturally tan skin tone.

She inhaled a breath of fresh air staring up at the clouds conjuring images of dragons slaying princesses and sharks eating humans. A small smile plastered on her face as she imagined these scenarios unfold in her mind.

She closed her eyes taking in the nature around her, feeling content. All the worries she was feeling before vanishing for a moment.

She heard shuffling beside her but kept her eyes closed savouring the moment for as long as possible. She heard a sigh next to her and she opened her eyes and looked beside her to see none other than Luka with his eyes closed.

He lay beside her on the grass looking peaceful. Alexandra couldn't help but look at awe at his calm face that held a small content smile as he looked to be relaxed.

"Staring are we." He smirked and opened his eyes and she looked away back at the sky not making eye contact. He chuckled slightly following her gaze to the sky.

Words didn't need to be shared. Just laying here on the grass with each other was calming enough for the both of them.

"So what're you doing out here?" Asked Luka still looking at the birds that fluttered in circles playfully chasing each other in the sky.

Alexandra let out a sigh as she thought back as to what happened in the office with her father just moments ago.

The wind picked up suddenly, the clouds and the sun fought against each other to gain control of the sky. In the end the clouds prevailed. The sky turned dark.

Why was it that darkness always came out victorious.

"Let's just say that my father wasn't happy, he's placed all these rules on me." She chuckled slightly then sighed. "I'm not good with rules. I just needed some fresh air."

Luka looked like he understood what she was getting at and decided not to question her further on the topic. They both gazed up at the now cloudy sky. The once bright baby blue colour now hidden behind the grand clouds casting a great shadow on the two below.

Alexandra shivered as the clouds released a cold breeze her way. She clutched onto herself and mentally cursed her foolishness as she had forgotten to wear her jacket and her long sleeve shirt was thin allowing the wind to target it and attack her with ease.

She felt goosebumps travel up her arms and legs. Luka noticed too and he quickly removed his black hoodie and gave it to her. He was now in a black thermal shirt and jeans.

Alexandra smiled at his generosity.
"Thanks Lu but don't you think you'll get cold." He raised an eyebrow at the nickname and shook his head, but Alexandra caught the faint smile he had on his face that he quickly hid.

"Don't worry about it princess, my mum's always nagging me and my brothers and sisters to wear warm clothes and lots of layers. She forced this thermal shirt on me this morning."

They both laughed at this and Alexandra hurriedly put on the hoodie to hide the slight blush that crept on her face when he called her that nickname.

Thankfully her blush had subsided by the time the hoodie was over her head and it stopped just below her knees. Luka was huge and so were his clothes, but they were warm and cosy and smelled like him.

His smell invaded her senses and she couldn't help but enjoy it. They both went back to watching the sky that was beginning to clear. The birds were visible again, the clouds dispersed and the sun illuminated the sky.
