"Well, y-you know the r-rules. LET'S GET THIS FIGHT STARTED!"

Now

Alexandra's POV

I watched as the ref positioned himself inbetween both me and Killer. He glanced at us both and gulped a smirk creeping up on my face.

I faced Killer reading him, picking out where I would attack. It looked like he was doing the same thing. We both studied each other looking for anything that may help us have the upper hand during this fight.

Our eyes trailed up each others bodies until they met. I saw it again. That rare softness. He gave me a small smile and I was very tempted to give him one back if it wasn't for my training. Rule #2 show no emotion.

I have lived by these rules my entire life and I wasn't going to stop now. They were all I've ever known.

I did however offer him my hand to shake. Something I rarely did, unless I either respected you or if you were one of my friends.

The crowd gasped dramatically and I rolled my eyes. What is it with people these days. I'm still human you know!

I saw the shock I'm Killers eyes before he took my hand and gave it a firm shake. I gave him a nod and the ref cleared his throat.

We let go of each others hand and got into our stances. The ref lifted his arm and took one last glance at us before standing back, letting it fall signalling the start of the fight.

We circled around each other, he was still reading me whilst I had already analysed him.

He was struggling, his eyebrows furrowed in confusion and annoyance as he couldn't find a single weakness on me.

I smirked at this. Years of training had taught me how to hide my weaknesses to appear superior to my opponent.

He was starting to get frustrated with trying to figure me out like I knew he would, and he started off with the first hit aiming for my jaw with his fist.

I skilfully dogged his blow and he tumbled forward with the force of his hit. He looked surprised and was about to turn around only to be met with a strong punch on his cheekbone.

He stumbled backwards and I watched the blood trickle down his cheek. He grunted and touched his cheek wiping off the blood.

Extending my fist, I aimed for the front of his nose whilst he was still in a daze. Before my fist could come into contact he quickly grabbed my arm and twisted it as I swung, causing me to retract my arm.

My arm tingled and felt numb like when you wack your funny bone on the side of a table. Yh not a pleasant feeling.

Minor setback, but nothing I cant handle.

He shifted his legs, a clear indication that he was getting ready to use them. I was proven correct as his right leg charged at me at the speed of light.

Without even thinking I grabbed it and locked it punching his stomach winding him. He tumbled back breathing heavily.

However strong he may be, his potential is held back by how slow his reaction time is. Nothing some good old training won't fix.

I took the opportunity to move in close. I slid one leg behind his, grabbing him by his shoulders. I pushed him backwards whilst sweeping my leg behind his ankle, successfully pinning him to the ground.

Leaving no space for him to react, I immediately straddled him and threw punch after punch to his face. I got a few good punches in before he reversed positions so I was on my back and he was the one punching me.
