Maybe he was embarrassed. Embarrassed he had, only days ago, said they were better off without them.
It wasn't until Y/n's feet came into his field of vision, standing neatly in front of his own, that he dared looking up. And he was met with a smile that had his heart melt. Perhaps the fire burning in Y/n's eyes had accidentally lit his heart on fire as well.
He couldn't even stop himself from smiling back.
