It felt like you ran on clouds, fire running through your veins. And again, you felt alive. It was a burning feeling in your chest that gave you strength as you made your way through the building.
Anyone who tried to stop you fell to the floor as flames arose around them. You felt unstoppable.
Pang.
But you weren't.
It happened fast. A bullet came flying through the air. It crashed into you.
This was a burning sensation in your chest, not like the fire-like one you felt before. This was pain.
You fell to the floor and grasped your now bloody shirt as a scream escaped you. Then another pang rang in the air and then another one. With each sound, your body shook violently and you started coughing up blood.
The fire in you was slowly burning out as if someone had poured ice-cold water upon it.
You looked up at the person and smirked as his body was lit to flames. He fell to the floor in pain as you took your last breath and closed your eyes forever.
