I was not amused.

Not amused at all.

After all, we were lost in a forest and I'm still low on magic energy so I can't transform yet while I was getting impatient as I waited for Adan who was trying to fix the bike.

It didn't help that we lost Sky and Bloom plus I'm getting really worried for my friends who are fighting monsters back at Alfea.

"Well?" I huffed, looking at him in anticipation. "How is it looking?"

Adan sighed for what seemed like the hundredth time already. "I can't get the power converter to fribulate."

I looked at him in confusion. "What does that mean?"

"The bike is busted." Adan bluntly stated, heaving out a sigh of frustration.

I groaned in annoyance. "Maybe I can use a little magic?"

"Don't." He immediately retorted, disagreeing with that idea immediately since my magic energy hasn't restored yet. "Let's just start walking, before it gets dark."

I nodded in agreement and we started walking but I couldn't help but be confused. "Fribulate? Is that even a word?"

.

"It would be much quicker if we go through Black Mud Swamp." I pointed out, having been to Blad Mud Swamp for Flora and school assignments so I knew that Black Mud Swamp was a good short cut.

"Depends.." Adan mulled over my words. "Do you know which way to Alfea?"

"Yeah." I nodded before frowning, clenching my fists as I could feel nothing but fear for my missing friends. "I hope Bloom and Sky are alright."

I felt a hand on my head and I looked up to see Adan smiling at me, it was a small smile but it put me more at ease, as if assuring me. "They will be fine."

I laid my hand on his, the one that's on my head and gave it a gentle squeeze before pulling his hand away from my head. "..I hope so."

We were walking for a long time and my legs are killing me, I was trembling and my breath was turning ragged and I couldn't see where I was going since it was starting to get dark.

"Let's camp here for the night." Adan spoke up as he eyed me, noticing my trembling state. "It's getting dark."

I nodded in agreement. "Agreed."

"Let's get some wood to start a fire." Adan picked up some branches and started a fire and I couldn't help but be entranced by the fire.

I sat down, even though we started up a fire, I was still cold, I shivered a bit and Adan seemed to notice since he shot me a worried look.
