"Oh Dabi, hey."

"Where you off to?"

"Huh? Oh, I just came from work and decided to stop by the uh..."

"The store."

"What store?"

"Across the street from here."

"At least try to sound convincing."

You sigh. "How'd you know I was following you."

"I got the feeling I was being watched. I just didn't think it'd be you."

"Are you always this on guard?"

"I have to be. Now, why are you following me?"

"I was making sure you're safe."

Dabi gave you a look that showed he didn't believe you.

"Fine", you admit. "I wanted to see the hideout."

"You really don't value your life. Careful doll. Remember what happened to that man? I'd hate for it to be you."

"You keep saying that, but I think you wanna keep me alive that's why I'm still here. You could've killed me if you wanted to."

"You're testing your luck. Go home."

"But there's nothing to do there. Just this once I swear."

"You're bored with your life?"

"Kinda."

You look past Dabi and see the same short, blonde-haired girl you spotted him with a few times. She was skipping in the direction of you and Dabi.

"Isn't that the girl you're always with? She's with you too?"

"Y/n no, leave." Dabi tries pushing you away so you'd leave but you were resolute.

"Maybe the villains aren't the bad guys after all."

Those words rang in your head and you wanted to see if it was the truth.

She got closer and you realized she was much smaller in person. She had a huge smile on her face, which was weird for someone who's supposedly a villain.

"Girl from yesterday?", she says. "I thought you went after her."

"Don't worry about her. She won't do anything. Y/n leave", says Dabi.

"Wait a minute. Now that I think about it, weren't you the same girl sneaking around us by the cafe?"
