"So what do you want to do?" Jayson asked.

I stopped and turned to him, "Wanna see what they have at their bar?" I asked. Jayson, with a smile on his face, nodded and held out his arm. I accepted his arm and walked back to the elevator. As the door closed Jayson quickly pushed me back and pinned me against the wall. I released a grunt and looked up into his eyes. "What are you doing?" I asked, Jayson turned towards the door and pressed at least four buttons, but they were to the higher floors.

He focused his eyes on mine searching, trying to find something or force it out. "What are you doing?" I asked him. Jayson grabbed my arm and ripped the band-aid off, the crusted blood stopped any fluids from gushing out. "What am I doing? Jane, what are you doing?" He asked as he held up my arm to my face. I turned my face away.

Jayson dropped my arm and followed my face with his own.

I felt tears well up in my eyes. "Nothing to say?" He asked, I wanted to talk but my throat felt swollen. Jayson was the last person I wanted to find out about this, he's kept me great comfort since I'd been rescued and made me feel safe, a deeper relationship even started to form that year.
"So what is it? Huh? Heroin? Cocaine?" He pushed. "for how long? You're probably off it right now," He dragged. I tried to push him away but his large figure stopped me. A tear rolled down my cheek as I kept trying to push him away from me.

Jayson just kept going, piling onto the pain that I already felt.

"STOP!" I yelled. My tears were falling onto my chest and I could feel my under eyes growing puffy, "Do you know what he did to me?!," I cried out, "I got addicted after Sinclair abducted me, he kept pumping it into my body, and now I can't seem to function without it," I sobbed. "Jayson I can't help it okay... I need help," I cried as I slowly slid down the wall. Jayson crouched in front of me, "Jane, why didn't you tell me?" He asked. I wiped my tears as they barreled down my face.
"Because I didn't know what else to do but hide it," I said.

"But if you'd told me we could've gotten you a prescription or something, Jane I could've gotten you help," Jayson said. My arms dropped to the floor and my hand slammed back onto the wall behind me. Jayson released a sigh and wiped my tears from my face. "Jane, I care about you. Not just because you're the mother of my child but because I want to see you more in my future," he comforted.

"Look, I won't tell anyone but we have to get you the help you need," he suggested. I looked up into his eyes and nodded. Jayson wiped the rest of the tears from my face and leaned to kiss me on my nose. "C'mon," he led as he tucked his arms under my legs and promptly lifted me up. I instinctively threw my arms over his shoulders.
Just as he lifted me, the doors to the elevator opened. Jayson and I both focus our attention on the door.

A man followed by an entourage of men in black suits stood in front of the elevator. I looked at Jayson and then back at the door. The man looked back at his entourage and whispered something before one of the men following him stepped forward, "For safety reasons, we're gonna have to ask you to leave the elevator." He said. Jayson, with no hesitation, exited the elevator. I opened my mouth to say something but without looking at me Jayson shook his head.
