Chapter 10

The next I wake up in the bed, Nick was next to me. I get up and take shower, dressing in leggings and a tank top. I then walk to the kitchen cooking some food. Nick comes in a while later as I finish cooking. I put the food on 2 plates as we sit on the couch and eat. "So what are we now?" I ask him, he looks at me. "Wanna be my girlfriend?" He asks with a shrug.

I laugh, "Sure. I guess." I roll my eyes, taking care of our plates, looking back at him he had an offended look on his face. "I'll show you." He gets up, I scream, laughing and running outside. He chases me as I laugh, then he tackles me to the ground. I laugh as he starts tickling me. "Ok, ok. Yes!" I yell, he stops, a huge smile on his face. He then leans in and kisses me.

I kiss him back, he gets up and helps me up. We were about to walk in the cabin when we both gasp, falling to the ground, wave after wave of magic and energy hits us. We look at the sky, there I see a dragon. Me and Nick stand up as 2 dragons land in the small meadow. Then I see 3 people. "Holly! Nick!" A familiar voice says. We slowly walk closer, that's when I see Jason, Liam and Mrs. Lorvina.

"Jason! Liam! Mrs. Lorvina!!" I yell, tears fall down my face as I run over to Jason, he hugs me tightly. I sob into his chest as I fall to the ground. I look over and see Liam and Nick hugging tightly, they had tears in their eyes. "Oh my lord." I say softly. "It's alright, your ok now." We hug for a few more minutes before we get up. I hug Liam for a few minutes then Mrs. Lorvina.

"How did you find us?" I ask, standing next to Nick once again. "We have looked all over the world. You've both been gone for 6 months." I look wide eyed at Nick. "A lot has changed." Jason says, "Like what?" Nick asks, "Well there is many dead men trying to find you. There will be a war within a year to 2 years. There are hundreds of camps near our old home. Your family is at the biggest one. It'll be a 5 hour flight." "Malix is the headmaster at the school." "Everyone knows that now." Liam says, "We haven't stopped searching for 6 months. Just a few days ago I felt a very powerful energy wave come somewhere near here. We've been near this area for 2 weeks now." Jason says to me.

I nod, "Ok let's go. Thank you for bringing Nile." Nick went up to his dragon. "Of course." Jason says, "So somethings changed here." Liam says pointing to us, "Boyfriend and girlfriend." "Kinda figured, been here for half a year." Mrs. Lorvina says. I smile going to Nile. I pet him he purrs. Then me and Nick hop onto him. I wrap my arms around his waist as Nile takes off.

I was finally going home to my dad, Carly, Collin, Layla. I was so excited, I couldn't believe this. I had my head in the crook of Nick's neck. "Nothing will change right?" I ask him, "Right." Nick says, I nod. "I'm excited to see my dad." He smiles at me as he glances back at me. "Holly!" Mrs. Lorvina yells over the wind, I look at her, "I mirrored your dad, I told him we will arrive in 5 hours, we found you and Nick." "Thank you for looking for us."

"That's our job Holly." Liam smiles at me, I smile at him. "So how is Carly doing?" I ask, Jason smirks as Liam looks away. "She is doing great, lot of things have changed but she'll catch you up." I nod a little suspicious. "I think your brother has a teeny weeny crush on my best friend." I feel Nick's back vibrate as he laughs. It was a long 5 hour ride but soon we were slowly decending.

I could see tents all over the place, tiny humans looking like ants, they all were gathered in a huge clearing. Before I knew it Nile landed. Nick got off and helped me off, as everyone saw me they all bowed. "Princess." They say. There was a gap in the middle. As I got closer I saw the man I've wanted to see for 6 months now. "DAD!!" I scream, running over to him.

Tears fell down my face like a river as his arms wrapped around my waist, he spun around before he fell to his knees. My arms were tightly around neck. We both were sobbing. "I thought you were dead. For so long I thought you were dead." I sob harder into his chest. "I'm so sorry, I'm so sorry." I hold him for a while until I stand up, looking around I see her.
