At that car wash, that battle is still intense. And events are about to take a turn for the worse. Despite both sides being at odds, as a result of the decisions made, Spinister is able to shoot at B-127's neck, damaging his vocal processors. I know this trope is "done to death", but this time, it's different. He can still talk, but with severe limits. He can't speak complex phrases or sentences unless they're easy to simplify. But what about the ones hard or impossible to simplify?

Hot Shot: B-127!!! D:

Spinister: And that's only a taste of our power. You and those two people will die at our hands. Or the hands of other Decepticons.

Cywark and Pekk hear him mention "decepticons" and realize the term to best associate the insignia on Spinister and Soundwave with.

Hot Shot is able to shoot at Spinister and Soundwave to knock them down long enough for him to get Soundwave's minions out of the way and rescue Mason, and Cywark and Pekk by extension before the two Cons return to standing. The two run somewhere with Mason to hide, even long enough to tell him the reason.

Cywark: Dad...?

Mason: What is going on here?

Pekk: We have a lot to explain to you. And hope that you'll hear us out.

Mason: I'm listening.

The two then proceed to explain themselves as being with three others while discovering the arc and everything inside, not realizing that they'd be awakened and that they should've listened to Joseph, who might've been right from the very beginning. They start to regret it, realizing these current events being the result.

Before Mason could even think of a response, the two Autobots, having driven off the Cons, approach the trio.

Hot Shot: You three should come with us.

Mason: What? Why us?

Cywark and Pekk are curious as well, though they are cautious about trusting Hot Shot and B-127, despite their rescuing them from the Cons.

Hot Shot: Listen. We need you with us as long as you two are being hunted, alongside some witnesses. You guys have to come.

With no other option, the three agree and ride with the two Autobots shifting to vehicle mode. Though other events take place at the same time as all this, and it's about time we return to the Wilsons, then to Joseph and Chilga, then back to the sisters.
