Back in New York, in areas where there are too few people around to even listen to or eavesdrop on their conversation, the Wilson sisters, are walking and recovering from the events they were just part of, with Kaitlyn(Tara Strong) excitedly praising Nayeli(Catherine Taber) and talking about it fast.

Kaitlyn: Those moves you pulled! They were so awesome! Like I said earlier, you should really try them again! You definitely need to teach me how to perform them someday! Maybe we could do some stunt performances together to entertain people and-

Nayeli(knowing that her sister is going overboard, as always): Kaitlyn! Please.

Kaitlyn is stopped, causing her to realize...

Kaitlyn: I did it again, did I?

Nayeli: Yeah, you did.

Kaitlyn: *facepalms* Every time.

Nayeli: *puts a hand on her shoulder* We really need to find a therapist for this.

Kaitlyn: *nods, then she starts to remember her parents* I miss them.

Nayeli: Mom and dad?

Kaitlyn nods again, her mood quickly transitioning to depressed, and she starts to tear up. Seeing this, Nayeli hugs her, leading to Kaitlyn hugging back as she weeps in her older sister's arms, recalling the times the two spent with the only two other members of their family beside them, until the events she also remembers when the two parents died in some fire-related freak accident, maybe caused by arsonists. Nayeli also misses them, just not in a way as sad as her younger sister. As Kaitlyn weeps in Nayeli's arms, the older sister comforts her.

Nayeli: *whispering to her while rubbing some curvilinear motions on her back to calm her down* Shh... Just relax...

After some time, Kaitlyn starts feeling better and thanks her older sister for helping her. The two just keep quiet in each other's arms, though after about a minute, they notice something about to shoot a beam down somewhere. This catches their attention, and they look for where the beam might strike, looking for other witnesses of it to ask them where it might be, some saying Times Square. They go there and, alongside other witnesses of varying ages, see the beam strike downwards into the middle of the intersection. Though a short beam, it somehow is still powerful enough to crack some asphalt the midpoint of the intersection comprises, the cracks forming a small spiderweb-like pattern. And there is what appears to be ice around the cracks for some weird reason.

Not only that, but some nearby lights, vehicles, and screens that use electricity for power are off as well, though the rest of the city is still with the things falling under the category still powered up. Something must've happened to the flow of electricity as if it were being blocked. Something is suspicious.

Some officers arrive to keep the area clear in case people fall in.

Random officer: Looks like something no one has seen before.

Random New Yorker: Is this the only place?

The officers tell everyone to stay away for their own safety multiple times. Couldn't be too careful, though Nayeli picks up a piece of the asphalt and touches it.

Kaitlyn: How hot is it?

Nayeli: *shakes her head* This thing is freezing.

Indeed it is when it should be how, especially with the area steaming. What's going on here?

Suddenly, some seismic rumbles are heard. And some people feel it, with some asking others if they feel it and others telling people they know to take a look at the scene.
