𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀

Chapter Five.

      The bus ride was hell, of course all the teens were slammed together today, and of course of all days the bus just had to be crowded, Wednesday was starting to regret coming.

"If this bus doesn't stop soon, someone's head is coming off." Wednesday hiss, Enid awkwardly chuckled, "please don't cause a scene, Wednesday you don't need a higher body count." Enid begged, Wednesday looked at her with a nasty glare, Ajax was about to speak but finally, the bus stopped.

"Oh goodie, okay let's go!" Enid immediately pulled Wednesday out of her seat and ran out the door, thanking the bus driver in the process, Ajax groaned.

"Were you trying to give me wipe-lash?" Wednesday growled, Enid just playfully smiled,  ignoring her aggressive behavior, "it's better than you blowing up that bus." Enid crossed her arms, Wednesday scoffed and turned away from the blonde beginning to walk away, "hey wait!" Enid ran after Wednesday, "w-what." Ajax stood there baffled, he'd clench his fits annoyed but followed after his girlfriend.

"Enid, I know you invited me, but you're partner is awaiting you." Wednesday said blankly as she kept a straight eye up ahead, Enid bumped into the women's side, Wednesday turned, slightly annoyed. "Ajax can wait, come on let's go do something." Enid smiled widely, Wednesday paused, feeling... fuzzy, ew.

"Wednesday?" Enid snapped her fingers, Wednesday blinked and stared into the blonde's eyes, were they having a moment...

Enid stared back staring in awe as she found herself staring at the girls lips... "what!" Enid pulled away and took a step back, nervously blushing as she scanned the area for Ajax.

"Hey wait, where did Ajax go." Enid asked spinning around a couple of times, "no surprise that idiot got himself lost." Wednesday rolled her eyes, mumbling under her breath. "Oh!" Enid groaned in defeat, "oh come now, you give up so easily." Wednesday grunted as she'd grippe Enid's hand and guided her towards Ajaxs' location.

Enid stiffened, the calmness of Wednesday's cold hands made her tingle, it was oddly satisfying, Enid couldn't help but follow after Wednesday almost being hypnotized by her aura, she felt like she was floating... suddenly she found herself extending her claws, accidentally cutting right through Wednesday's hand, the two stopped as blood splattered onto the ground.

"I-I am so, so, so sorry, that was an accident—" Enid deeply apologized, holding her hands tightly together, Wednesday examined her hand, no reaction, just a smirk... "what..." Enid thought, slightly blushing?

"Enid, it's just a scratch, it's no internal bleeding." Wednesday grabbed a cloth from her pocket and slowly started to wipe the blood off, Enid, oddly enough watched, intrigued.

"Enid there you are." Ajax came sprinting, "Ajax!" Enid shouted in a panic, hiding her arms behind her back, Ajax huffed as he stopped infornt of her. "How are you two so fast." He questioned, "you just happen to be slow, possibly bad genetics." Wednesday said blankly, Ajax grunted and narrowed his eyes at the raven haired girl, Wednesday stared back up at him and just stared, intimidating the taller male after a while.

"Okay you two." Enid stepped in, Wednesday rolled her eyes and started to walk her separate direction, having enough of Ajax's presence.

"Wednesday where are you going." Enid called out, "the coffee shop, you can meet me there at 15:00 hours." Wednesday replied as she slowly walked away, Enid opened her mouth to speak but just let her walk away, feeling a bit of regret, and loneliness... "stop Enid, you have a, a boyfriend." Enid said sadly inside her brain.

"Come on, I know what will cheer you up, let's go dress shopping for you, do you like that idea?" Ajax asked, smiling widely as he held Enid's hand, which were weirdly cold...

Enid looked up and gave him a small smile, "I can't say no to that." She chuckled, "alright, come on." Ajax laughed leading the way as the two locked hands, Ajax was smiling but, Enid was just neutral, pretending to glance around the builds, she didn't want to hurt his feeling, or let him down...

As they passed the coffee shop Enid saw Wednesday sitting in a booth, reading a random book she had just found, Enid couldn't help but want to join her, just sitting by Wednesday made her whole day, but she had to spend the day with her boyfriend... right?
