'I'll drive you home,' he said with such conviction that she wasn't able to deny it at all. Srishti found herself walking beside him, he slowly asked where she lived and lead her to the faculty parking lot,

He stopped in front of a sleek looking car and opened the door for her. Realization dawned on Srishti that she was getting into his car, Professor Adhiran was driving her home,

She had a hard time processing that little piece of information.

He quickly got into the driver's seat and fastened the seatbelt as he turned the ignition on. Srishti noticed how his masculine frame occupied a fair amount of space in his car and settled in her seat.

'Let me know, If you're cold or warm' he murmured reversing the car out of the college parking lot,

Srishti nodded her head watching his tinted windows. She wondered how he he was comfortable in such a dark space with such minimal light and tinted windows,

Her eyes took in the radio which was a touch screen as she listened to the soft music that played in his car, the names of the song and the artist was mentioned on the screen for her to read.

'Intha paatu azhaga iruku' she voiced out, looking at the radio steadily,

Professor Adhiran smiled softly, turning to look at her for a split second,

'Intha band oda matha songs uhm nalla irukum.. Take down their name, I feel like you'll like them by the end of tonight' he told her, turning his attention back to the road,

'Kandipa' she said softly, 'Professor Adhiran.. '

'Yes, Sasha? '

'Neenga en enga appa amma ku ennachu nu kekala? '

The elder one let out a sigh as if he had been holding it in for a long time, he seemed surprised by her question, ' Enaku therinjukanum dha.. But I feel like I already asked you too many questions today..

I feel like I've been enough nosy for one day'

'Nosy nu illa.. You were a little concerned -

'Very concerned' he told her, his forehead creasing together,

Srishti had the overwhelming urge to explain everything that was going on with her and embraced the idea, ' I walk home alone every day, En periya anna overtime work panraanga athunaala avangluku oru vandi venum, Antha innoru car enakum en thambi kum dha..Avan football practice nu solitu antha car ah eduthupan..

He drives home random guys from football practice like Dinesh.. Avankita na ketathum illa-

'Un thambi ku Dinesh friend ah? 'He stopped her,

'Ahma.. '

'And what did he say after yesterday? '

'Avan dha illayae' She lowered her voice wishing they spoke about something else other than her brother as her chest ached with a familiar pain,

'Sasha.. ' he whispered, ' Inneram avanuku therinjurukum'

' avana enkita vanthu pesnana nu dhaana keka varinga? Athela avan pesla.. ' she told him, shifting uncomfortably,

She looked up at him to find him tense up, his knuckles almost turning pale at the prospect of gripping the steering wheel so tight.

'Are you okay? 'she asked, her hands instantly going to his shoulder,
