Adhiran eyed her, his features bewildered entirely. Anitha had done exactly what she promised to do a few years back,

'Adhiran, na soldratha kelu, Even if I die, I'll come back to you in ways you can not even think of'

He eyed her as if she was a mad woman, her dainty features appeared too perfect to put in words, unrealistic and dauntless, challenging everything that hindered her in achieving what she desired,

'You don't sound yourself when you say things like this, Anitha. Paathu pesu ' he sighed, terrified of her eerily enchanting smile,

Anitha only got closer, palming his chest as she looked at him, 'You're so perfect, Adhi. How can a woman even stay sane around a man like you?'

'Namba yaarumae perfect illa ma..it's the law of humanity entirely.. sooner you realize this, you'll find peace ' he held her shoulders, making her stand straight ,

He had managed to walk to the balcony, still feeling her feline eyes behind him, looming over his body. He had been so tired of pretenses, wishing he could just walk away, this had been too much, too suffocating.

Srishti knew about her.

He had made diligent attempts to hide Anitha from his life, but she was rediscovered by the one woman he wanted to hide her entirely from,

Adhiran had no idea what to say, Anitha was a whirlwind in his life, wreaking him entirely, leaving him to find another woman in her place, He closed his eyes as he reminded those moments again,

It was a summer wedding in Galveston, the Island City of Texas, Adhiran's friend from highschool was getting married to his childhood sweetheart. They had decorated the venue in ribbons of alabaster and cerulean blue, in pure Greek fashion , a nod to the girl's heritage. Adhiran had gone there alone, regardless of a plus one, he didn't have any as he recalled,

He didn't have anyone that he was seeing to bring her to a wedding, and bringing someone not so close only meant uncomfortable glances from time to time, not so pleasant on his part, perhaps. Some of his other friends were attending, and it was a good time to catch up between college work and studies,

Adhiran had managed to find himself, sipping soda by the bar along with his friends, laughing and chatting over, as the reception party started,

Someone's hand encircled around his arm, so delicate that he hardly felt like he was touched at all, he looked to his side to find a slender woman, her dress clinging to her body in all the right places, a deep blood red, making her golden sheath of skin shine bright, her hair pinned in a low bun, her small waist , a graceful voice and small beady eyes above her giant smile, she had such beautiful eyes, that glowed under the neon lights,

The men grew silent behind him, so did he,

'Hi' she murmured with a wide smile, a perfect curve amongst her already perfect features,

'Hello ' he managed to smile back, 'Can I get you something?' he offered,

'How about a dance?' she asked him,

Adhiran had found himself a willing accomplice as he led her forward; she didn't have to speak another word at all. Adhiran felt the envious glances behind him , he didn't look at them at all from the reminder of the night,

Adhiran sighed again, the irony of Anitha was a momentary veil of perfection, mystical and ephemeral,as if it was a spell cast from a fairy tail to hideaway poison, like how the witch cheats snow white with the apples, eventually, every spell would fade, showing up itself, everything that lied behind, the biggest trap that he fallen in,
