Srishti opened her eyes looking at the vibrant display of colors her cupboard offered her. Her fingers rummaged through the pile fishing for a dress that was both comfortable and handsome enough to tempt him . She chuckled at her state, the feeling felt so foreign yet so right.

As if it was normal for her to dress up for him.

She had always found herself occupied with some activity when she was alone in order to break away from her train of thoughts. Silence had always been comforting in her case as she was a nomad in the dark, thoughts wandering through infinity,

But as days passed, it felt torturous when he wasn't near her.

However, he had given her no real reason to feel this torment. , it was the fact that he did everything perfectly right that disturbed her deeply, so in control with his feelings, so incharge of his emotions and his self control , leaving her in a thunderous tempest surrounded by her growing adoration for him,

She had chosen a yellow summer dress that reached just above her knees pairing with a dark blue leather jacket after messing up and rearranging her cupboard after so many attempts,

She wanted to look sultry in his eyes, a vision that'd haunt all of his temptations and put him in a blissful trance.

Srishti believed so, that it wasn't so wrong to be so in love with him, so much that both of her mind and body yearned for him with every passing moment.

She had managed to put on some light makeup , highlighting her dark eyes with thick kohl, her lips caressed by the sensual crimson of her newly bought lipstick and her brushed her wavy hair freely instead of securing it in a hair tie,

Srishti looked at herself now again, recalling the descriptions that she read about in the novel, Rebecca. She compared herself to her countenance, the lady with a reckless lust for life, the lady who's eyes oozed with self confidence and the luxury of her royal femininity, the expanse of her magnificent aura that drew every single man, like a moth of flame to her feet,

She had ached to feel that way, since that day she heard his mother talk about the girl in his past. She had no idea what she was to him, she had no idea of she was a forgotten chapter or a favorite chapter that he revisited from time to time, but if he still felt something for her, Srishti was more than willing to pick up all of his broken pieces with all the love she had in her heart.

He had messaged her to drive safe to the cabin again, just thinking about the place brought her chills. Srishti drove through the landscape filled with the orange radiance of dusk and the dancing pine trees to reach the secluded cabin where her heart beat,

The door opened and he stood on the other side, perfectly content in a dark brown flannel shirt and black pants,so natural and casual. Perhaps one would never see this side of him in the city for there was country in him, in the city, he was the mysterious Scholar, sexily tailored and expensive,

Srishti blinked seeing a shooting star pass by and wished for the man in front of her to become all hers as she sported a smile, he called her name and was amused to see her lost in nowhere particular,

'Hello? My lady? Falling for me already?!' he teased as he chuckled, the sound doing sinful things to her core,

' Falling is a mere word, Professor. I'm drenched already ' she told him ,her voice lowering several octaves as she eyed him,

' Is that so?' he came near her to hold her hand, ' I'd be glad if you'd offer me more clarity on that , Ms. Srishti ' his lips brushed along her knuckles, ' Let me know where you'd like my inputs ' he whispered in her ear,
