Travel and tell no one. Live a true love story and tell no one.Live happily and tell no one. People ruin beautiful things.

Srishti had always felt the remnants in everything, perfectly content at the edge of things. She knew how to value every pause, every stutter, every single hesitant word and the soft murmurs which are often ignored. She had often thought to herself, was it her that chose to fill herself with nothing but love, or was it love that chose her to be its residence.

It had been a week since their cozy exchange of adoration in the hideaway behind his bookshelves and Srishti had already lived off its cheer. Anticipating more and more from his loving eyes, for him to fill her completely. But she knew better ways to wait. Her tiny fingers patted on the wooden desk in front of her as she finished another book which Adhiran had offered her to help with her research.

Srishti smiled to herself as she ached to see him, her feet rose up to take soft strides to his classroom where he sat grading papers, his brows scrunched in absolute concentration.

'Good afternoon, Professor Adhiran ' She stood in front of his desk with a content smile and he paused his reading to look at her,

'Hello there, Sasha ma.. ' he settled with a smile, but Srishti knew better, she knew what those crinkled eyes contemplated, she read him beyond his gentle gaze,

'I see you've finished this book, Hope it offered you more clarity ' he told her ,

Srishti bit the insides of her lips remembering how the word clarity had different semiotic implications in their language.

Something that belonged only to them.

'Yes sir, it did. I didn't know what I would've done if you hadn't been there to help,' she said , handing him the book, her fingers brushing his like an effleurage.

'En Adhirshtam ' he whispered and cleared his throat at once, eyeing the students that passed by his classroom, ' May I ask how your paper is coming along?'

' Of course ' she smiled as he eyed her to sit on the desk in front of him, ' I'm half way through the main statement. I'm often bombarded by different ideas..

Ennala control vechika mudila.. I mean, I have only one paper, but padika padika resources neraya iruku..' she pouted like a child,

Adhiran let out a musical giggle as he shook his head, ' Being a research Scholar is hard, Sasha ma.

You should be proud, Ne neraya padika aasa padre... most people don't even care' he shrugged his shoulders as he looked around again before grabbing her palm to his lips,

' I.. ' Srishti stuttered feeling his rough bristles brush her soft fingers as he kissed each of them, 'You..you need to shave ' it was a low mumble,

' Thedrathu pudichiruku nu sonna?' he sported a feline smile remembering what she said when he searched for her once in their college library,

'Thedal innu moonu vaaram iruku' She pulled her palm away, her cheeks burning red as a wild marigold,

' Na research paper ah sonnen ma' he winked at her like a man with a plan and she chuckled, shaking her head at his mischief,

'Nanu atha dha sonnen, Professor. Thank you for the book. I'll see you on Monday ' She slowly stood up and nodded. Her heart dwindled seeing him look at her with forlorn dreams as she sneaked a look outside the door once,

Her soft palm cupped his left cheek as she smooched him deeply on his lips before running away, leaving him grinning like a cheshire cat.
