"You know Taehyung everything was going right but then you showed up in our lives again. It was always you who came between me and y/n again so blame yourself", he spoke out, pointing the gunpoint in taehyung's direction.

Taehyung's and y/n's eyes widened after hearing what Jungkook said.

"No, Jungkook no!!", she looked up at Jungkook from the corner of her eyes and tried to escape his grip.

"Jungkook, I am warning you. DON'T YOU DARE!!", She continued yelling but Taehyung's reaction was opposite to hers.

Here y/n was panicking while Taehyung stayed still in his place as he looked at Jungkook with a poker face.

"Do you think after killing me she will be yours?"Taehyung questioned, not a pinch of fear visible on his face.

Y/n stopped and shifted her gaze toward Taehyung. Her lips parted slightly.

"If you are not there in our life then she definitely will", Jungkook responded as he tightened his grip around the pistol. He was not sure about his answer.

He somewhere knew that was not possible and that was the only thing that was haunting him the most, hurting him the most.

"There's uncertainty in your voice", taehyung spoke up with a smirk playing on his lips.

"You know she will never be yours", Taehyung tilted his head a bit to the side as a small laugh escaped his lips.

Jungkook glared at him but the smirk on Taehyung's face didn't diminish even an inch.

"Hope you are aware that I can kill you any minute?"Jungkook reminded him.

"If it's for her I am willing to die a thousand deaths", taehyung's smile faded and a serious complexion concealed his face.

"So you are ready to take the bullet for her?"Jungkook raised a brow.

"Not unless you let her go '', Taehyung said and a huge grin formed on Jungkook's face, "Kim Taehyung if she can't be mine how can I Let her be yours?".

His words left Taehyung speechless. He knew Jungkook was capable of doing anything but hurting her? No.

"You won't do that", Taehyung uttered in absolute disbelief.

"I can do anything. Want to try it out?", Jungkook smirked.

"Jungkook, I am warning you for the last time. Let y/n go!! You can come after me but let her go", Taehyung's expression darkened and his knuckles whitened.

"Kim Taehyung, you claim to love her. Then let me give you a chance to prove how true your love is", Jungkook lets out a sarcastic chuckle, looking at a flash of annoyance on Taehyung's face.

"Taehyung, don't listen to him", helpless anger simmered in y/n as she yelled out loud, grabbing both the male's attention.

Taehyung shifted his gaze toward y/n and suddenly his sight softened and turned moist. He could see the love and worry for him in her eyes. The type of look he could die to see for the first time.

"You don't have much time left", announced the deep male voice grabbing Taehyung's and y/n's attention towards him.

"If you love her, prove it. Sacrifice your life for hers and I'll let her go", said the same voice that had already spoken.

After hearing what Jungkook said, fear paralyzed me, and tormented me. My belly was cramped and I could feel nothing but blind terror. No...No...please don't agree with him taehyung please don't. This thought was like a needle jabbing at my skin.
