After weeks of exploring her own desires, Khushi found herself feeling more confident and self-assured. She had learned a lot about herself and her needs, and she was determined to continue exploring her own pleasure.

One day, while browsing through a fashion magazine, she came across an advertisement for a unique job opportunity. The position was for a designer at a prestigious fashion house, and it required someone creative, bold, and willing to take risks.

Khushi arrived at the fashion company's office for her interview, feeling a mix of nerves and excitement. The office was a bustling, open space filled with racks of clothes and design sketches. She was greeted by the receptionist, a chic woman with a bright smile and impeccable style.

"Hello, you must be Khushi. Welcome! My name is Priya, and I'll be your interviewer today. Follow me, please," Priya said, leading Khushi to a conference room.

The conference room was spacious and airy, with large windows that overlooked the city skyline. Priya introduced Khushi to the rest of the interview panel, which included the head designer, the marketing director, and the CEO.

Khushi took a deep breath, feeling a surge of adrenaline as the interview began. The panel asked her about her design experience, her inspirations, and her vision for the future. Khushi answered each question with confidence, drawing on her passion and creativity.

As the interview progressed, Khushi felt more and more at ease. She could sense the energy and enthusiasm of the panel, and she knew that this was a company she wanted to work for.

After the interview, Khushi stepped outside to catch her breath. She felt exhilarated and hopeful, but also a little anxious. She knew that the competition for the job would be tough, and she didn't want to get her hopes up too high.

As she walked down the street, lost in her thoughts, she bumped into an old friend from college.

"Khushi! I haven't seen you in ages! What are you doing here?" her friend exclaimed.

Khushi explained that she had just had an interview at the fashion company, and her friend's eyes widened.

"Wow, that's amazing! I heard they're one of the best in the business. You must be really talented to even get an interview with them," her friend said.

Khushi felt a surge of pride and confidence at her friend's words. She knew that she had worked hard to get where she was, and it was nice to have someone else recognize her talents.

As she continued on her way, Khushi passed by a group of young designers, chatting and sketching on the sidewalk. She stopped to admire their work, struck by their passion and creativity.

"Excuse me, are you a designer?" one of them asked, noticing Khushi's interest.

Khushi smiled and nodded, and the group invited her to join their conversation. They talked about their inspirations, their struggles, and their dreams for the future.

Khushi felt a sense of camaraderie with the young designers, and she realized how much she missed being part of a creative community. It had been a while since she had worked with other designers, and she longed for the collaboration and inspiration that came with it.

As she walked away from the group, Khushi felt a renewed sense of purpose and energy. She knew that the job at the fashion company was her chance to reconnect with her passion and her creativity, and she was determined to make the most of it.

Khushi walked away from the group, deep in thought. As she walked, she couldn't help but think about her dilemma. Should she tell Arnav about the job offer? Or should she keep it a secret and risk damaging their relationship?

She knew that Arnav had been supportive of her career aspirations in the past, but she also remembered his dominant behaviour and his belief that women should belong at home. Even though he had accepted her help with the business idea, she couldn't shake the feeling that he didn't truly believe in her independence and success.

Her mind drifted back to their past conversations. She remembered how excited she was when they had first started their business venture together. She had brought fresh ideas to the table, and Arnav had been impressed with her creativity and drive. But as time went on, she noticed him becoming more distant and resistant to her input.

"Arnav, what do you think of this idea? I think it could really work for us," Khushi had said excitedly, holding up a sketch of her latest design.

Arnav had barely glanced at the sketch, his attention focused on his laptop. "I'm sure it's fine, Khushi. Just focus on your part of the work, and I'll handle the rest," he had replied dismissively.

Khushi had felt deflated, her excitement and passion for the project slowly dwindling. She couldn't help but feel like Arnav didn't trust her abilities or see her as an equal partner.

And now, as she considered telling him about the job offer, those same doubts and fears resurfaced. Would he support her in this new opportunity, or would he see it as a threat to his own dominance and control?

As she walked, lost in thought, she found herself in front of their house. She took a deep breath and stepped inside, ready to face Arnav and their future together.

Khushi couldn't shake off the memories of Arnav's past behaviour towards her ideas of being independent and ambitious. She remembered the humiliating incident when he had ridiculed her for wanting to start her own business.

Flashback:

Khushi had been excitedly sharing her ideas with Arnav about starting her own fashion label. She had been working hard on her designs and was eager to turn her dreams into reality.

But Arnav's reaction had caught her off guard. "What do you know about business, Khushi? You're just a woman. Women belong at home, not in the workplace," he had said in a condescending tone.

Khushi had felt hurt and angry at his words. "How can you say that, Arnav? I have just as much right as anyone else to pursue my dreams and be successful," she had replied, trying to keep her voice steady.

But Arnav had just laughed. "Dreams? Success? You have no idea what it takes to make it in the business world, Khushi. Stick to your sewing and cooking," he had said dismissively.

The memory of his words still stung Khushi. She had felt so belittled and hurt by his comments. And even though he had eventually come around to her business idea, she couldn't help but feel like he still didn't fully support her aspirations.

Khushi snapped out of her thoughts and took a deep breath. She knew that she couldn't let Arnav's past behaviour hold her back from pursuing her dreams. She had come a long way since then, and she had proven to herself that she was capable of success.

But she also knew that telling Arnav about the job offer would be a difficult conversation. She wasn't sure how he would react, especially given his past attitudes towards women's independence and career aspirations.

As she walked home, lost in thought, she wondered how she would approach the conversation with Arnav. Would he be supportive? Or would he try to hold her back, as he had done in the past?

Khushi felt a sense of unease and uncertainty as she thought about her next steps. But she also felt a sense of determination and strength. She knew that she had to stand up for herself and her dreams, even if it meant going against Arnav's traditional views and expectations.

She took another deep breath and walked into their home, ready to face whatever lay ahead.
