Where I am the unlit stars
Gaze in perpetual sleep.
Wishes unheard, warmth unfelt,
Fevered dreams, buried deep.
I fly toward the midnight sun,
Across the sea of sorrows,
Over valleys of unhealed wounds
And deserts of no tomorrows.
Would that I could stir the sky
Awaken their brilliance, once again.
A better place to where You are,
To know I have not lived in vain.
