"hey, you made it!" calvin calls out when he sees bin walk through the front doors of the movie theatre. she's wearing his green coat with some black cargo pants. this time she made sure to wear more layers than just one.

"sorry it took so long." bin tells him. "i walked all the way here. and it was four miles."

"it's fine, i guess." he says, shaking it off. "let's buy tickets and some snacks."

he wraps an arm around her shoulders and pulls her body against his side, making bin feel both safe and uncomfortable. she walks beside him up to the register. he reads off some titles for them to watch, letting bin choose the movie itself.

bin picks one she wants to see, but calvin turns her down. he says he doesn't wanna watch something so childish. it's an animated film, but it's not like a cheesy movie about magic mermaid princesses. the way he immediately told her no, makes bin feel uneasy. but she ignores the feeling and points out another movie.

he agrees with watching her second choice. "see, this movie is mature."

it's a horror film that bin's never even seen the trailer for, so she's kinda nervous. but she hides it as they purchase the ticket.

"you can pay for your own ticket, right?" calvin says with a humorless laugh, but bin doesn't find him funny. "you said that you're a singer, so you should be loaded."

he then picks out some candy without asking if bin wants to pick anything out as well. just as she's about to add her own snacks to the pile, he puts his hand out to stop her from setting the bags down.

"what?" she asks.

"are you seriously gonna buy all that?" he asks, pointing to the three bags of candies she picked out for herself.

she shrugs. "yeah. should i not?"

"i mean, buy what you want, but i don't know if that's a good idea." he looks her up and down, his eyes stopping on her stomach.

bin frowns before placing the food back on the shelves.
