chapter 17 : Family traditions

"kuya can I come to see the Sapphire University" sai asked her kuya

"please. I promise I will be a good girl" say said with puppy eyes "haha guess I can't say no to my baby princess"

"yehey!" sai jump happily & dances

"you shouldn't spoil her to much daniel" her mom said "it's okay mom cause when she become older I can't babysit her anymore" sabiel said

"kuya can we come also? please?" kent asked "I'm not a babysitter okay. so better behave or else I would never bring you again"

"yes! kuya we will" the boys immediately waits outside. "kuya what car are we using?" sai asked

"my 2015 Land Rover Range Rover my princess" he winked & offered his hand "shall we go my princess" sai nodded "yes" she smile sweetly

sai decided to ride infront. brian & kenji's in the middle. shin & kent in the back seat.

daniel is a good driver, he makes sure to drive safely especially he's with his younger siblings.

"kuya when will kuya james arrive?" brian asked "he's already in the school talking to uncle"

Daniel's phone suddenly rings "baby can you answer that call" sai nodded & press the answer key "hi! kuya james!" sai answered "oh hello sweetheart! are you with kuya daniel?" james asked

"yes kuya I'm with kuya, he's busy driving & can't take the call but we're on our way to Sapphire University now kuya" sai said "okay baby thank you. btw did the boys also come?"

"yep kuya. the twins, kuya bry & kuya kyle. mom & dad went somewhere & staying at home is kind of boring so we decided to tag along. hehe"

"okay. baby be careful on your way in here okay. bye & love you" her kuya said "thanks kuya & we will. bye & love you too kuya" then both line hang up

"kuya. kuya james already in Sapphire University" sai say while checking his kuya phone wallpaper "kuya. ate yasmine is so pretty." daniel smiles

"& I'm handsome" sai chuckle "I won't argue, it's a given kuya no need to emphasize it" both of them laughs

they took the other route. "kuya is this a route for personnel?" sai asked "nope baby. it's a route directly to uncle office, he's the only one who's using this road the other staff use the main road."

"that's what would you expect from a rich family." shin said "haha shin. we belong to that family, but...it's already a tradition for us not to tell who we really are." sai said

"why kuya? I mean it's not like we're -" daniel cuts him off "we just don't want for the younger generation to get hurt. I experience it before, I thought they were my friends but they only use me to get on top" silence

"I experience it twice. it's too painful that's when I realize that our tradition is right. if people doesn't know our status they will approach us without any hidden desire or hidden agenda."

"my old friend betrayed me that's why I decided to study in states & have a fresh start. my friends in college doesn't know that I belong to the royal family, we bound & laugh together innocently. no one takes advantage of me"

daniel looked at the rear mirror "I'm sharing this because I don't want my baby brother & sister to get hurt. I don't want any of you to suffer from the same pain I've gone through. its hell & it's was a painful memories to be honest"
