A fair lady who is about the age of 18 came out and answered their salam making Mahmoud's heart to thump loudly because she looked just her! Just a younger version of her but is fair skinned not dark skinned

''Wa ku ke ne ma (who are you looking for)" the girl asked keeping the tray of beans on the ground

"We are looking for a woman called asmau" Adnan spoke into the phone

"You are looking for my Mom?" the girl asked in English not waiting for the translator to translate

The word mom made Mahmoud's heart beat faster

"Yes we-"

"Afrah su waye su ka yi mana salama (who are the people that are saying salam)" a very beautiful and chubby dark skinned lady came out making Mahmoud's eyes to well up

"Ammi" Mahmoud uttered quietly but everyone heard, the woman who he referred to as ammi turned her attention to him and it made her pupils to dilate when her eyes landed on her precious son

"Mahmoud" she called as tears started to gliding down her cheek, Mahmoud ran to his ammi and engulfed her in a bone crushing hug

"Ammi Ammi Ammi" Mahmoud wailed on her shoulders making Adnan to also tear up while afrah just stood there and folded her arms watching her mother and Mahmoud with a confused expression

"Mahmoud you aren't supposed to be here you should go I don't want him to do anything to you" Ammi said after breaking hug her eyes were already red

"Eamiy 'anah myit bialfiel (ammi he is already)" Mahmoud said in his thick Arabian accent making his mother to freeze

"Mataa (when)" ammi asked regaining her composure

"tuhufiya qabl eamayn(he died two years ago)"

"But why didn't come" Ammi asked placing hands on her son's face

"I couldn't he told uncle Alex to keep an on me eye even after his death I shouldn't look for you and if tried they should kill you" Mahmoud answered his place his warm hands over her cold ones, Afrah who had been listening to their conversation decided to speak up

"Umm excuse me please,you said your uncle will kill mama if you even tried to look for her and now you are here with her,you just endangered us" afrah boldly said ignoring the striking resemblance between her and him

"Yes Mahmoud you should go back  please before he founds out" mama said taking a few steps back

"No ammi don't worry I have distracted him" Mahmoud said through gritted teeth as he clenched and unclenched his fists, now that he has found his mother nothing stands in the way of him killing that mother fucker, the rage in his eyes scared the ladies especially ammi she has never seen him like that what happen to her Mahmoud

"Mahmoud wh-what did you distract him with?" Ammi stammered a bit scared of what hassan has transformed her son to be and sacred of the next words she would hear coming out from Mahmoud's mouth, indeed she made the worst mistake of her life by marrying hassan

Mahmoud chuckled a wicked chuckled and a devilish smirk appeared on his lips,the Mahmoud that was crying and wailing some minutes ago was no where to be found, his demeanor has changed from weak to strong with a tinge of wickedness making ammi to sweat behind her knees

''Oh ammi don't worry about him he will soon be wiped off the surface of the earth but if you really wanna know then I burnt five of his mansions but don't worry only his goons were burnt and a few dogs" Mahmoud said with an evil laugh while his mom and afrah watched him awe

"And for the cherry on top I made my men kidnap his precious daughter Emily" Mahmoud laughed louder while Adnan just smiled and shook his head at his sadist of a friend

"Mahm-oud wh-what have you become" Ammi asked taking more steps back, surely this isn't the son that she raised,well not actually she just raised him for 11 years while his dad raised him for 13 years

"Ammi don't look at me like that" Mahmoud said placing his hands in his pockets while ammi kept staring at Mahmoud as though he is an alien.Seeing that no one was going to say anything Adnan decided speak

"Ammi you should get ready, we have a flight to catch" Adnan said breaking the silence

"A flight? Which flight? Where are we going to" afrah asked excitedly she has never travelled anywhere

"We are going to Abuja" Mahmoud replied to his sister,he couldn't help but smile she looked exactly like his amrah

"Mama we are going to Abuja" afrah excitedly told her mom

"If I follow you Mahmoud what will be the plan? Will I follow you back to Egypt?? No I won't, I'd rather stay here than risking your life" ammi said making afrah's excitement to die down

"Ammi don't worry,you can stay here by here I mean in this god forsaken country but in Abuja, I will be coming to see you regularly and when I'm done with uncle Alex you can move back to Egypt" Mahmoud said taking ahold of ammi's hand

"Mama please say yes I want to experience life in Abuja" afrah pleaded with puppy dog eyes

"Arghhhh fine I can never say no to you" ammi said pinching her daughters cheek

"Ouch mama stop I'm 18" afrah pouting rubbing her cheek

"Oh that reminds me, Mahmoud meet afrah your step sister and afrah meet Mahmoud your step brother" Ammi introduced to the two

"Oh my I can't believe I have a big brother" afrah squealed as jumped into his embrace making Mahmoud to laugh and Pat her head

"And I can't believe I have another sister, Ammi she looks so much like amrah" Mahmoud said to ammi after realising afrah from his embrace

"Yes she does, Allah ya gafarta mata'' ammi prayed and all of them murmured an Amin

"Adnan look at how tall you have grown" ammi said making Adnan to chuckle

"Ammi I've grown tall aren't you supposed to be Old and have wrinkles on your face" Adnan joked making everyone to laugh

"Silly boy" ammi said as she hit his head

"Okay, our flight leaves in eight hours better go and ready" Mahmoud said adjusting his sitting position on the tattered mat that was brought by afrah some minutes ago

"Okay yaya Mahmoud" afrah grinned she finally have someone to call yaya

"Oh yaya means big brother" afrah explained when she saw Adnan's and Mahmoud's confused faces

"Okay lil sis" Mahmoud said patting her head affectionately

"But mama what about baba's farm" afrah asked with a sad smile turning her attention to her mother

"I will give it to inna talatu dama chan ta damai ne na barmata (she has been disturbing to give it to her)" Ammi replied

"Toh Allah dai ya kyauta ma wa en su mutane (may Allah guide her)" afrah said glaring at the wall behind her mother

"Let's start packing" Ammi said and with that they all stood and started packing
