Days... Weeks... Months passed, as Aki kept on with this torture, trying to keep up with lessons unfamiliar to him, trying his best not to be beaten to death
Through the time that has passed by, the times he got beaten gradually decreased, giving him a breather
The 14 year old boy now laid under a tree as he looks up at the leaves, collar unbuttoned as he hid from the blazing sun, his blonde hair hung droplets of sweat as it glistened under the rays of sun that seeped from the crevices of the leaves, a book, 'history' was placed in his hands as he started to zone out
He jumped as a sweet voice called his name from the distance
"Aki!"
A dainty girl ran up to him, sitting down in front of him as Aki returned to the world, the girl seemed excited as Aki smiled softly at her, he set the book aside and spoke
"Hello there, Miko, how have you been? Is there something you need?"
"I was wondering if you could teach me that spell again! Yours looked soo big! but mine was small and didn't really do anything"
Miko said as her head drooped down like a sad pup
Aki sighed and stood up, as Miko stood by the tree
Raising his hand, Aki recited the spell with haste and percision
"Darkness That I Call Out To, Bless Me With Your Powers As I call Upon One That Could Spiral Everything Into Darkness, Black Hole."
As his voice fell, the sky grew dark and emerged a black hole from thin air, pulling everything around it into it, Miko held on to the tree for dear life, as she was starting to be sucked into it as well, seeing this, Aki quickly rushed to her side and pulled her into his arms to prevent her from being sucked into the black hole
Miko was simply fascinated by the sight, how one simple spell can manipulate the skies, and even shortened to a few words for the spell to work, as the spell ended, Miko's excitement increased, and couldn't wait to cast the spell
Aki smiled with content as he let her go, giving her a small push on the back, insisting her to try it
Miko's eyes brimmed with excitement as she walked up ahead, reaching her hands out as she recited the spell
A black hole appeared once more, though it was smaller, the force didn't loose to Aki's, as Aki felt himself starting to get pulled in, he casted a gravity manipulation spell, making it so that he wouldn't be pulled in
Miko squealed in excitement as the spell ended
"Aki, Aki! Did you see that!? It was bigger this time!"
Aki walked over and gave her a small pat on the shoulder and smiled happily
"Looks like you've been practicing, good job Miko"
Miko jumped around, expressing her happiness, however she failed to notice Aki's smile fading into a saddened expression as he mumbled to himself
"Two more years.."
Indeed, there were only two more years until the story starts, two more year before everything unfolds, two more year until everything
