The carriage soon fell into silence, the only thing that could be heard was the galloping of the horses as they ran on the stone road, Kuno has just been staring at Aki with a smirk as Aki awkwardly looked outside the window

In all honesty, he hadn't expected Kuno to be such a beauty, his heart was beating fast, as if it was going to jump out of his chest, he could even feel as if the original Aki had fallen for this beauty

[explanation : the soul of Aki still remains in the body, it's like the driver was forced into becoming the passenger and some other soul, in this case Nomo, took the wheel, the passenger can still see, hear, and feel everything, sometimes forcefully take the wheel if they sense on coming danger or smthn they don't like, but the other soul inside the car has the overall control over everything they do]

yet Nomo doesn't remember writing the script this was, he only remembers something along the lines of 'Aki always favoured Kuno for his abilities'

Kuno stared at the flustered Aki as he thought to himself 'how strange.. I just now realized my memories doesn't seem to be allining with this life's events... I never remember him being so flustered seeing me.. he used to boast about his powers all the time, ordering me to become a stool to help him up the carriage became the norm for me, his flustered state though.. it makes him quite the cutie..'

Kuno's lips couldn't help but curl up into a smile, his eyes kept on Aki, yet it seems like this time, it's more like he's staring at a prey

The silence was finally broken as Aki finally calmed his heart down, turning back towards Kuno, feeling a shiver run up his spine as he met with Kuno's sinister gaze, yet it quickly became stern and gentle, 'My eyes are probably deceiving me..' he thought, taking a deep breath, he finally spoke to him

"So which department are you going to?"

he asked, Kuno was jumped slightly as his mind snapped back from his thoughts, putting on a soft smile, he answered

"I'll go to the department you choose, Aki,"

"Is that so?"

the carriage fell to an awkward silence again, Aki felt a little embarrassed having Kuno staring at him like that, he turned his head to look out the window, though there was only a field of green to look out to, his cheeks were brushed with a tint of red 'ahhh- his voice sounds so good-!'

Kuno tried his best to not chuckle at the sight of this, Aki paused for a moment before shyly speaking again

"Well, I'm going to go to the magic department, since I'm great with magic and all.... and uhm.. physics and alchemy.."

"Hm? What for? You don't really need alchemy right?"

Kuno asked attempting to push things back in line with his memories

"Oh-! To- to study black magic!"

"Isn't that forbidden due to it being dangerous to others and the user?"

Aki jumped as Kuno said this, he had forgot about it and was now panicking

"Uhm! Please don't tell anyone!"

"Alright, I won't, orders are orders"

Kuno replied, ultimately chuckling

Aki looked back out the window, fading into a daze, Kuno's eyes felt empty, empty and cold, it was like staring into an abyss [why th is it spelt with two s'], devoid of emotion, he didn;t put much thought into it though, he wasn't too skeptical on such topics, it might mean to pry into his private affairs, so he didn't bug him about it

yo like- why does it smell sweet, sour and dog food at the same time

uhm, I don't know, why doesn't it?
