"And so, the trade can continue like normal with our close kingdom South Blue" I announced and the whole conference room turned into a series of clapping and cheering
I did a good job it seems
"I hope you all will have a nice journey, we will send some of our knights with you to ensure your physical safety" Said Sabo
I could hear the people whisper, praising how we both are a great negotiation team and everything
Suddenly someone raised their hand
"Even if the trade continues like normal after this many complications, does the Crown Prince agree?" Asked Boa Hancock, the duke's daughter of this country
She really has to pick on every little details huh?
"Of course he does, or else me and Prince Sabo won't had been the negotiators, or perhaps, you are having doubts on the Crown Prince's decision?" I asked, not leaving her any space to nitpick anymore, giving a classy enough response
For some reasons I feel like she hates me personally
I broke the silence,
"That's all then, Thank you everyone for coming, everyone may dismiss now" I instructed and the room went empty in some mere seconds
I could hear hancock making a "tsk" Before she got out
I took a deep breath and half layed into my chair
"That was harddd"
"Haha you worked hard this time, good job Y/n" Said Sabo as he pet my long hair, they did grew a lot since when I was 14
Maybe I should cut them again
"Hey!" I hissed at him making him giggle a bit
"Hancock seems to hate me" I sighed
"Everyone knows she has a thing for Luffy, maybe that's the reason"
"I do hate to admit it but I am Luffy's SISTER IN LAW! How can she even get jealous of our relationship" I asked confused, not getting his point
Love? Jealousy? I gave up on those things a long ago, 2 years ago to be exact
"I wonder how her family even let's her come to represent their house, she is gonna bring their downfall soon enough" Said Sabo
"She is actually a great leader, she just becomes immature when it comes to do anything with Luffy and her
'love' " I defended her for some reasons
"Well she is the eldest daughter, her father died just a year ago, she should learn to not let her personal and work life affect the late duke's powers and already get used to all this" Suggested Sabo
"I hope she will learn soon enough, I have to go meet the king today" I sighed again
"Pops?"
"Yeah"
"Aw, luffy has a fighting competition with shanks today, he personally invited you to come watch him on the training grounds"
"I know... I will try to visit there as soon as the meeting ends" I said as I stretched my arms out a bit and got up from the chair
"Koala" I called as she entered
"Do I have any other meetings today?" I asked
"No Princess, just after greeting the King, you are free for the day" She said as a Huge grin came on top of my face
"Ahhh finally I can resttt" I hopped around the room jolly, not wasting any time
I got out of the room leaving koala and Sabo behind
Sabo started to get out of the room following me but Koala called onto him
"Uhm"
"Yes? " Asked Sabo stopping in his tracks
".... Is my prince coming to watch the third Prince's fight today?" Asked koala with a blush
"... Ah yes of course I will" Sabo said as he gave her a light smile
"O- okay... I will save a seat for you" Said Koala as Sabo just looked at her, maybe confused
"... I WILL SAVE ONE FOR THE PRINCESS TOO!" koala added seeing the weird look Sabo is giving her
"Haha thank you Koala" Said Sabo as he got out of the room
Leaving Koala being an emotional mess, just happy that the Prince remembers her name
However sad that he gave a weird response, maybe he really will never like her....
Soon koala followed Y/n too

"Does the crown prince agree?" Hancock's words kept ringing in my ears
Whats that to do with her?
And that trashy prince? Why would I need his permission? Do I have any lack of authority? I already did a good enough job, saving the empire many berries with the negotiations!

Times sure passes quick
Ace was supposed to be Crowned as the king a year ago, however for some reason Pops changed his decision and promised to make Ace the King when he is 20,good decision considering Ace's immaturity and huge ego which is gonna kill this empire
...
Going on parties before Ace did and leaving as soon as he arrives helped avoid him
Sabo did helped me quite some times as well
It's like a given that in any official meetings with Ace, the queen will get 'sick', and 'unfortunately' not be able to visit the prince
I almost don't know how he looks right now anymore
I looked out of the windows as I walked through the halls
But I can't avoid him forever, he is gonna be Crowned as the King next year when he is 20, of course I will have to meet the King, right now we are young and didn't had many official parties together, so we don't get judged yet nor can anyone plot anything taking advantage of our bad relationship
Tho I feel like our engagement will fall apart as soon as he becomes the king
He didn't even tried to meet me once in this years, not that I am complaining
Soon I was in front of Pop's door

"Yes the meeting went well, I was fine just with Sabo's attendance, the Crown Prince must had been busy so I didn't wanted to bother him" I said politely
However we all know that is just an excuse, Normally the King and Queen take decisions together, even hancock got the courage to speak up because the Crown Prince was absent
However I do not fucking give one fuck
"I see, You already have my permission to do whatever you like, You do not have to fear anyone child" Said Pops, reassuring me
"Thank you"
At least I have their support

TODAY'S WORK IS DONE!
Time to go rest- Ah! Luffy's training will began soon
I should go meet him
Me and koala began chatting while walking towards the training grounds
It's nice that the Crown Prince is too busy to play around at places without reason, I don't have any fear of meeting him unexpectedly like I did 2 years ago---
