Chapter : 15 {Luffy's Heart}

Luffy's POV :

The match started soon, Yoshh!! I am gonna win

Shanks came closer and entered the grounds

"Ready to lose shanks?" I asked with a huge grin

"Hahaha You grew up Luffy, you are getting funnier and funnier day by day" Laughed shanks

"We will see about that" I said as I stretched a little

I looked towards Y/n, I hope she is watching me

WHAT???

That damned Sabo is keeping her occupied, she isn't even looking at the grounds!!

I really should had taken the seat besides her back then....

All of a sudden Shanks got closer and put his hand on my shoulder

"She will be watching, don't embarrass yourself too much" whispered Shanks with a weird smile on his face

"I was not gonna anyway" I replied and the fight started

Sabo's POV :

Luffy is fighting great but it's a given that he will lose

I am an idiot, I should not had given any hints

.... BUT HOW CAN I NOT?? MY EMOTIONS GOT THE BEST OF ME

The hint was so obvious even the maid figured it out!! I am just glad she didn't figured it out yet!

Right now she was watching Luffy getting beaten up badly by red haired

She seems worried for him

"Don't worry Shanks will have mercy on him" I assured her

"But Luffy is gonna sulk for all this for quite some days!" She replied

"But that's life" I said as Luffy almost went flying towards out of the ground

"LUFFYY!!" All of a sudden she started to cheer

"YOU CAN DO IT!!!! BEST OF LUCK!!!"

Luffy suddenly seem to get more motivated, however in his current state it's quite impossible to even land a punch on shanks

"Wanna play?" Asked shanks

Is he trying to piss Luffy off more?

I looked at Y/n who was cheering for Luffy hard, standing in this burning sun

I looked back at the grounds, the whole audience were silent all of a sudden

"Sh- SHANKS WON THE MATCH! PRINCE LUFFY GOT K.O-ED!"
A soldier announced

"I feel sad for him, well that was expecte--" Before I could finish,I just saw an empty seat beside me, Y/n was already running towards Luffy who was laying on the ground

Y/N'S POV :

"There is always a next time Luffy" I said trying to cheer him up

He wasn't getting up from the ground because he was so angry

"Are you gonna throw a tantrum now?" I asked him confused

"Just leave him there" Came Zoro, Luffy's best friend

For some reasons Luffy has decided that Zoro will be a part of his official knight team, working directly under him

"Zoro.... That's harsh" I whispered to him, not letting Luffy hear

"Huuh? But he is the one who decided to fight even tho he knew he shouldn't right now" Said Zoro making Luffy pout again

"The match was expected Luffy, the next time you will win for sure! Don't worry" I grinned to him as I reached my hand out for him to get up

He took it this time

"But Shanks usually stays outside of the castle towards the border of our country to protect it ! It's hard to meet and fight him regularly!!" He said as I helped him dust the dirt off him

... That's true, Shanks takes his job more seriously after that day.... The king died

"I told you! I will send a letter for him to come myself next time okay?" I said, trying to cheer him up any way I can

I have the Queen's powers, might as well use it for myself sometimes

"YOU WILL?? THANK YOU Y/N!!" He said as he hugged me with a big grin, making Zoro also laugh at Luffy's sudden mood swing

"LUFFY!!" Hancock came running

"Oh.. Miss boa" I said as Zoro just stood there

"Are you okay??? Are you hurt??? Do I need to kill that Shankss offf???" She asked

.... It feels weird for Luffy, Y/n was showing him kindness and he loved it and melted for her... But when Hancock is doing the same.... Somehow he finds it annoying

"I should go" I said as I started walking back to my maid and Sabo

"N- No--" Luffy went to stop me but I didn't, being will hancock will just bring drama for her hateness

Luffy's POV :

"So? What did you need?" I asked cold

"Luffy.... Why did your attitude changed so suddenly? You were sweet a moment ago--" Before hancock started spitting her bullshit again, I stopped her

"I already made everything clear that day..... Don't come close to me nor Y/n anymore" I said as I walked away with Zoro pissed

"You could had being nicer" Said Zoro

"I don't care" I replied, loud enough to make sure Hancock got the hint

*A Year Ago*

Hancock's POV :

"LUFFY!! I AM HERE TO MEET YOU AGAIN!!" I said as I ran towards him in the royal garden, he was with his sister in law like usual whom I don't care about

Luffy and the Y/n girl both turned back towards me, however I stopped on my tracks, making it obvious I have no intention on greeting the Crown Princess

Thanks to my dukery's powers, I can invite myself to the Palace anytime I want to meet Luffy!

I saw the Crown princess say sth to Luffy and walk away with her maid

Good! Now my Luffy is alone with me

He started walking closer, I have been coming to meet him for so many years now, I am glad he is a friendly guy so I got close with him--

Wha-- what's this? He...... He has a different expression?...... I don't get it.... What?

"L- luffy?" I asked as he came forward and faced me directly

"I am telling you for the first and last time, never come to meet me if you don't have anything important to do.... And NEVER come at the days when the Prince and Princess are taking a break.... It wastes my only time with Y/n easily" He said it so seriously... It felt like this is an entirely different person

"H-huh? But I have always been coming-"

"And? Y/n wasn't there back then"

"Y/n? You are saying all those rude things to me just cuz of your sister in law?"

"I don't wanna give any explanation to you, leave us alone" He said as he started walking away

"...... Do- do you like your sister in law Luffy?"

He stopped in his tracks

"Do you like Y/n?" I repeated my question

"Isn't that obvious?" He said with the most causal tone, turning back to me with a simple look on his face

That spring..... I got my heart broken
