This story is from the same year Y/n and Ace got engaged, some months after they stopped meeting
Y/n's POV :
"Uhm My prince" Koala knocked on Sabo's door
... And got no response
"If you are looking for the second Prince he is already asleep" Said another maid
Which made Koala light up
Yesh! Everything was going according to the plan
Koala dashed to my room
"Princess!! He is asleep!" Shouted Koala which made me and Luffy jump from excitement
"Good! Now we don't have to spy on Luffy to check if he eats the cake behind our backs or not!" I said with a grin as Luffy just pouted
"I just hope he really is asleep" Said Luffy
"Its 11:45 pm! And Sabo is an early sleeper!" I reminded him
"Plus I made sure to give him more works to make him more tired today!" I stated
"Can't say that's gonna make him happy"
...
We three were in front of his room with the cake
The door was closed but I had a spare key!
We put our ears in front of the door to hear inside
"Happy birthday again"
"HUH? THERE ARE NOISES COMING FROM INSIDE HIS ROOM!" Said Luffy
"I am going now"
We heared Someone walk towards the door and we made a run for it
....
We hid behind a wall and as luffy peeked to see who it was
"Ace!" Said Luffy
"That bastard Woke Sabo Up!" I cursed
"Princess don't curse so openly!" Reminded Koala
Great! Sabo was now awake again
"Luffy I can see you" Said a manly voice
Ace to be specific
Luffy came out of hiding, the cake still on Koala's hand
"Ace!" Said Luffy as me and Koala just hear them talk while still hiding
"It's the Crown Prince" Whispered Koala
"I can hear that Koala" I whispered back
"Why were you hiding?" Ace asked Luffy as Luffy looked back at us and then acted like nth is there
"N- nothing!!" He said as he hummed
Ah we forgot
That idiot can't lie
"Oh? Then come! Let's stay at Sabo's room till 12 when it's his birthday" Said Ace as Luffy got shook
"Hey Ace you do know that me and y/n are surprising Sabo right?" Asked Luffy
"So what? I can't spend time with my own brothers?" Asked Ace
That bastard!!!! He is doing this just to ruin my planned surprise!
"Ah- yeah I guess"
...
Ace went to Sabo's room again, this time dragging Luffy along with him
And soon... It was 2am as me and Koala fell asleep in the floor where we were hiding, waiting for Ace to leave
"Okay I will be going then! I came to visit because I was too busy to meet you at 12,meeting Luffy made me forget about my work" Grinned Ace as he and Luffy dragged each other out of Sabo's room
"Hahaha thank you both, Ace, Luffy" Grinned Sabo
Ace's mission of pestering Y/n was complete as Y/n surprise plan was also ruined
As Ace walked by, he spare a glance towards the Princess and the Maid, tthe beautiful Princess resting on her Maid's shoulder, and the maid having one hand on the side of a cake, and another hand around her Princess's waist
Ace smirked as he went away satisfied
...
"Man" Said Sabo as he stood in front of the two figures
"You guys will catch a cold" He said Worried as he looked at the cake
He kneeled down and had a taste of its cream
"It's delicious, I wonder if Y/n made it" He said
He got up and carried Y/n
Inside his room
He then called for another servant and told him to take Koala to her room
"Do you want me to take the Princess to her room too my Prince?" Asked the servant
... Sabo smirked
"No need"
Entering his room, he closed the door
He went and stared at the sleeping Y/n before he lightly pinched her cheeks
"Thank you idiot" He said as he falled asleep in the chair
