I got out of the room as I saw Luffy and Sabo standing there worried about me
I looked at them with horrified expression and my legs almost gave up, Luffy grabbed my arm and helped me stand again
"Wh- what did he do to you Y/n??" Asked Luffy as he was about to rush into the room however I stopped him
"L-LUFFY! I am just tired, can we go to my room?" I asked as they seemed to understand the assignment and now I was in my room

I looked up the ceiling, ah sure gives flashbacks
...
"What do you think about being Queen?"
"I sure did love to work for the people" I replied
"And?"
"And what? There are other benefits too?" I asked Ace
Now that I think about it, I was the one winning the conversation
"Of course there are! You are the king's wif- wife" He said, hesitate for a bit
"Oh? Yeah I almost forgot that for the relationship the king gave me all these years"
"Haha you really have changed"
"Haha I do not wish to be called here by you if you just want to beat around the bushes" I replied again, this time pissed
"Okay then, Let me get straight to the point" He said as I took a deep breath
My title will be going after this sentence, so I should just suck it up

"I do n- Pardon?" I asked, wanting him to repeat what he said, did I finally lost it as I grieved all this days?
"Aha, Must be sudden for you, however I have seen your excellent work all this days and I have decided you will be a great Queen, so why not make it real?" He asked

"What?" He asked
"...... Are you joking with me my Prince?" I asked, this time serious
"Did Pops told you to say all this to me? Blink twice if you need help--"
Ace cut me off before I could finish my sentence
"What? You hate being with me so much?" He said as I looked at him in shock
He stood up as he began walking closer to me and put both of his hands in both side of my seat
"Or is it because you got a lover?" He asked, he was smirking but it was obvious he was trying to taunt me
Isn't that something I should ask him?
We both held strong eye contact for a moment, no one seemed to be ready to back up when Ace finally moved
"You can take your time before giving me an answer" He said as he sat back
My answer should be obvious... It's obvious I don't want to marry him after all this years of him pissing me off
.... However, my dad won't allow me to go back.... I have a family here even tho they are not blood related
..... I can just run away
"I will come meet you again with the answer my Prince" I said as I started walking towards the door
"You are free to do whatever you want... However, Do keep in mind Crown Princess, You have a pretty peaceful life here, including me into it will just bring more benefits for you"
... I did not answered nor did I looked back
His words gave me such shock that my legs gave up the moment I got outside that hell of an office

My bed really is the most comfortable
If I run away what are the disadvantages?.... Well in this era the women are not very much protected except with a husband or being strong yourself
Ace and my dad can find me anytime they want because of the power they hold
Plus I hate to agree however I was born in the 'high society' , I have 0 skills to cook or clean
What will I do? Dance?
I even almost forgot how to dance after not dancing officially for so many days

Sabo's POV :
"You called for me Ace?" I asked as I took a seat
He just nodded as he put his papers away and looked at me
"𝗔𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝗳𝗳𝗮𝗶𝗿 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗺𝘆 𝘄𝗶𝗳𝗲?" He asked
Wife?
"You finally agreed to meet me after all these days and all had to ask was this?" I asked, pissed at him
He didn't reply
"Don't you already know the answer Ace?" I asked staring straight at him
"Ahaha don't be so serious Sabo! I was just confirming!" He exclaimed with a grin
"This are stupid talks! We have more important things to talk about! Like why you rejected the trading offer--" Before I could finish my sentence Ace stopped me
"What can be more important than someone confirming whether their wife is having an affair or not?" He asked
... "Are you kidding with me? What's even are all this Wife Wife bullshit about?" I screamed at him
"Ah I didn't tell you Sabo? I am gonna marry Y/n for real now" Said Ace

I looked at him with confusion filled into my eyes
Why Ace..... We already went over this once..... Why...... When you know about my feelings for Y/n?..
Last time I checked you didn't even had the tiny bit interest on her
.... Suddenly the moment someone was about to hurt Y/n with an arrow and Ace saving her 2 years ago crossed my mind
I shook my head, I should not think about all this
"Why Ace?"
