                     Chapter nine
                    the maze runner

let's get into it

"Big day buttercup" Minho comes over to the pit

"Sure you don't want to sit this one out?" He asks

"Come on Minho, give me a hand outta here" I smile slightly as he opens it and puts out his hand for me to grab

We both walk to the maze, waiting for it to open

"Let's go!" Minho runs in, i run in after him, "This way, not much further to the inner ring, let's go" He says

I speed up and follow him, "Come on"

We reach section seven

"Strange" Minho mutters

"What?" I question

"Sevens not supposed to be open for another week"

We walk in, "what the hell is this place?" I ask

"Call em blades" He looks at me as we walk through

We speed up a tiny bit, that's when we notice clothes on the ground

Minho picks up a top, or what used to be

"It's bens isn't it?" I ask

"Yea" He sighs

"A griever must've pulled him down here" He adds

We suddenly hear a sound, i turn Minho around and reach to grab the device we found

"Woah hey" He mutters

I look at the device, following where it's leading me a tiny bit

"I think it's showing us the way" I say

Me and Minho follow

"Wait wait wait" Minho puts his hand on my shoulder

"What?" I question

I listen the to beeping as he backs away from me a little bit, keeping his hand on my shoulder

"This way" I say and begin walking, he looks around while we walk

We follow it until it starts beeping way faster, it keeps getting faster the more we walk

We end up on a bridge floor, type of thing, the walls are different from the maze itself and there's spaces to fall off on each sides

"Minho you ever seen this place before?" I ask

"No" He replies confused

We get to a wall, "Ahh it's just another dead end" Minho says

The device clicks once more and then turns green, then a wall starts to rise, revealing another path, where more walls are rising
