Chapter three
the scorch trials

let's get into it

I get dragged back into my room after Astrid did, at least i'm not in a tiny room with a small bed, no light, the one i was in before

But what the actual fuck?

Astrid is being abused? Tortured?

I don't even know how to react, all i know is that we need to get out of here

"Minho? How did you get back? Did you see Astrid?" Newt comes in the room, the others following behind and then a guard closes the door

"We need to get out of here" I start pacing the room, trying to think of ideas

"What why?" Thomas asks

"It's Astrid, there fucking torturing her!" I yell

"What do you mean torturing?" Newt asks

"They keep injecting her with stuff, and then they cut her open, i saw the stitches Newt, there bad" I say

"But how can we get out?" He asks

"I'm not sure, but i'll find a way" I lie down on my bed

I haven't been able to sleep, all i can think about is Astrid, and what they might've done to her for telling me about the doctor

That's when i hear something slide against the floor, i lean up and i see there's a vent?

Then a head pops out from under my bed

"Hey" The guy says

"Who are you? Why are you in here?" I ask

"Come with me, i need to show you something" He says

"I don't even know you" I get off my bed

"You want to help your girl Astrid?" He tilts his head

"She's not my girl"

"Want to help her or not?" He asks again

I roll my eyes and nod, he slips down into a vent and i follow him

We both crawl

"Where are we going?" I whisper

"Shush, just follow me" He looks back at me

We end up on top of another vent

"What is this?" I ask

"Just watch" He says

I do as he says, then when i see doctors walking past it, with a body on a cart, but it's covered

And then i see Astrid, she's unconscious, but there isn't something covering her

"As-" I begin to say before a hand is put over my mouth
