Ch. 12

Avery's p.o.v.

Beep. Beep. Beep. Damn beeping noise why won't it stop? I try to open my eyes but they won't even flutter. I try to move my arms and legs, but they seem to not listen. Where am I? The last thing I remember talking with Dylan laying on the forest floor saying sorry. Hearing him yelling my name. I try to cry. It's not working. I hear some one shuffling around. I try to talk to the person. I try, but I don't succeed. A question pops into my head. Am I dead? Some ones voice snaps me out of my thoughts.

"Hey alexandra." some one says. That voice, I know that voice! Only question is who is it?

"Hey Dylan, what's up?" The person named alexandra says.

"Nothin really, how is she doing? What's wrong with her?"

"She is stable. She's in a coma, but before you think of the worst she will wake up. Just in a few days hopefully."

"And what if she doesn't wake up?"

"Well hopefully she wakes up in a few days, if not a few weeks."

"I can stay with her, right?" That voice sends tingles up and down my spine. He sounds so vulnerable when he said that.

"Of course you can, you her mate." Wait did she just say mate?! Oh god!

"Dylan I have to tell you something. She might not remember you-"

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN MIGHT NOT REMEMBER ME?!!?"

Dylan's p.o.v.

"Keep your voice down god dammit! It's just a possibility. When she collapsed on the ground she hit her her head on something hard. She might remember everyone, most people, not alot of people, or no one. I don't know yet." Alexandra says in her doctor voice as I call it. "I have to go now, would you like to stay?"

"Of course I'm going to stay, where are you going?"

"I'm going out with Luke, like a date night." Alexandra says with a smile on her face.

"Well you have fun I'll call you if she wakes or anything." I smile back letting her know I will be fine.

"Ok promise you'll call if anything happens, good or bad? Promise?" She asks holding her pinky out. I take my picky up to hers

"I promise," while putting our pinkies together.

"Ok my job is done for the night, I will be off bye Dylan. Love you!'

"Bye Alexandra, love you too little sis." I watch until she's out of sit then sit back down withy mate.

"I don't know if you can hear me Avery, or even remember me, but please wake up. I miss you I may have not known you for long, hell I've only known you for about 2 days! When we first talked we got off on the wrong foot. Instead of talking like mates we talked like alpha and rogue. The reason I have been so difficult on you is because well my mom, she died from rogues. It was a horrible accident, really bad. My mom and dad were taking a walk in the woods near the edge of the territory And well there were to many rogues." I thought I could tell this story without crying, but I guess I was wrong. Tears were streaming down my face, slowly. "We didn't know they were there in time. 15 rogues against my dad defending my mom. He was so busy with those rogues that he didn't see the one come from behind and grab her. He stabbed her with silver, my dad went crazy and killed them all. Took my mom to the hospital but it was to late, she died right when they got there. My dad and I never trusted rogues and vowed to become the most powerful pack in the world to scare them off. But I guess we didn't scare you. Hahah I'm glad your here Avery." I say sadly and pat her on the leg and then take a seat. Oh Avery please wake up what can I do without you?

Avery's p.o.v.

I remember! Dylan, Chris, Luke, alex, everyone! When he said that, I needed to see his face. To hug and hold him, i knew he was crying because he was sniffling. Oh Dylan. Why can't I wake up?! That's when I felt it. Like I was being pulled away, away form where? I don't know. That's when I heard a voice, a woman's voice saying,

"It's no your time my dear, but you must go he is waiting for you." The voice whispered. Before I could think about it my eyes fluttered open automatically. I look around and see Dylan sitting in a chair close to mine holding my hand crying. I squeeze his hand causing him to gasp and look up.

"A-Avery your awake?!"

"Yeah I am you idiot. How long was I out?"

"4 days, I can't believe your actually awake! Alexandra said it would take days but I thought it would be longer than this." He mumbles to himself.

"Avery why did you run? What did you mean when you said 'He knows where I am. He found me.' What did you mean by that?" He asks me. His eyebrows were scrunched together with confusion and curiosity. I look at him and then it all rushes back to me.

"He is here. The rogues were just a warning. Dylan you are going to be attacked, I don't know when and I don't know how. All I know is that he won't give up until I'm with him." I look at him, he probably thinks I'm crazy now, oh well.

"What do you mean we're going to be attacked? I need to know more Avery. Who is after you and what did he do to you?" I look at him and say,

"My father is after me."

So I know I haven't updated in a while so here ya go! It's probably really bad, but I'm tired really tired. The reason is because I slept over my friends house Thursday then went to the fair with her Friday and got home at midnight. Then Saturday two friends came over and slept over and we didn't go to bed until 5 in the morning. Then today I went over a friends house to talk. My life is chaos. So I have a little story to tell... My friends cousin, Chris (weird right?!) got dumped by his girlfriend and I felt bad for him I said to my friend (katelyn) 'awe that's horrible!' So Saturday I get the lovely surprise of a text from two people one from katelyn and the other from unknown. Katelyns text was 'My cousin he likes you an wanted to talk to you can u just talk to him' so me being the nice friend just said sure. I was an idiot to say that. So me and Chris were talkin and all of a sudden he asks me out! May I remind you that I barely know this kid and he's from a different state! I said no, but he was like can we still be friends? And I told my sister 'this is not gonna work out he's gonna ask me out again. And this guy is Sooo corny. First he was like 'Send me a pic of your beautiful face' I just didn't reply to him. Trust me I'm not one of those attention Seeking whores but I really don't think I'm pretty. So this kid is flirting with me and I turning him down flat. I told him I had to go and deleted his number... But he keeps texting me. I'm getting really annoyed! My life is just fabulous *note the sarcasm*. So there's my story and thanks for reading! I'm #3!!! I died when I saw that. I literally screamed and my mom ran outside because I was outside and thought I was getting kidnapped... I just told her that my kidnappers would return me. Anyways I have something important to tell you. Instead of getting just a random update to might be getting one once a week. The only reason is school is starting up for me soon, and I won't have enough time doing this, homework, drama, and fangirling during the school week. So I will most likely post Saturday or maybe friday. If an update is not on one of those days consider it amazing because you will get that update and a regular one. I just realized this is longer than I was hoping so I will tell you what I was going to tell you next time!! Please
