I shut my alarm off, I still can't believe I'm going to high school
I make myself get up and get dressed, makeup, and hair done. I was just about to go downstairs when I get a text from Ella telling me she's coming over later today to talk about somethings that's going to fun.
I walk into the kitchen and Alaric is sitting at the table reading.
"Good morning" I say hopping that it's not still awkward from yesterday
"Morning" he says back without looking at me
"Ella wants to come over after school"
That gets his attention "why?"
"She didn't say just wanted to talk I hope I'm not fired already" I say sarcastically
"I doubt it someone is still taking out wolf packs even a couple of witches have died"
"I wonder who's doing this?"
" I don't know but we need to be ready if they do show up "
"What do you mean be ready?" Ready for what?
"We need to be prepared if they attack so we will need a game plan"
"What do you mean "we" your going to fight?"
"I will if necessary but I will mostly do the planning"
"Would you kill them if it came down to it?" I ask him
"Yes I would. I think we all need to sit down and make a plan"
"Yes sir" I say with a laugh then add "we will talk about it later I got to go bye"
I pull up at school and start heading inside
Sara sees me a runs over "hey" she says
"Hey good morning" I say back
"I hate school" she groans
"Trust me I do too"
"Maybe we should just skip?" She suggest
"As much as I want to I just started here so I don't think that would be a good idea"
"Yeah your right this time" she sighs
We walk up to my locker with Claire leaning on it she waves at us "hey"
"Hey good morning" I look over and see James, Michael, and Tyler leaning on one their lockers.
it's like Tyler senses I'm staring he turns around and we make eye contact I turn away quickly.
"We better get to class Aria" Claire says
"Okay see you guys at lunch" Sara waves goodbye
Finally lunch time arrives it feels good to have a placed to sit but as much as I still like human food I would give anything to have at least a sip of blood and I'm glad I have some self control but it still challenging being in a place with so many humans.
I walk over to where they are seated and sit next to Claire
"Hey new girl" James says to me
"James" Claire say glaring at James
"Claire" James says back mocking her
"So do you want to hangout after school Aria?" Sara ask
"I can't today but maybe tomorrow"
"Okay that's fine we can all hangout at Tyler's tomorrow. Is that okay Tyler?" Sara says looking at Tyler
"Yeah that's fine" Tyler says back
"You will love Tyler's houses? he's loaded. His sister is also pretty hot" James smirks
"He's actually right she is hot" Michael agrees
"Shut up" Tyler says to both of them while Sara and Claire roll their eyes
