"Tag, you're it." Aisling shoves Jacob, who nearly falls.
She laughs, running off. She can hear Jacob just behind her, panting. The trees are a flash of green as she runs.
"You can't run from me." Jacob smiles, just behind her.
She slows a little, stopping for a flash. Jacob lunges at her but falls onto the ground when she flips around and zooms to her side.
Aisling chuckles, giving him a hand.
Jacob takes her hand but instead pulls her down towards him.
"You totally lost." Aisling says, her head in the crook of his neck.
"I let you win." He grins, his arm around her.
"Promise me this is forever." Jacob brushes her hair away from her face.
"Forever." Aisling promises.
The sun illuminates her face, her hazel eyes shining.
Beautiful, he thinks.
