Aro's POV
I watched as a girl leaped in front of the bullet for Jane and Alec. Wow. She must have either been very selfless or loved them both very much. She sank to the ground just as the villagers threw the torches at Jane and Alec's feet. I gave the signal and every vampire jumped from the bushes and sunk their teeth into a human. My brothers and I got the buckets of water to extinguish the fire. I stared at the girl who took two bullets for her friends and couldn't help but feel a tange of pity for her. She only had a few seconds to live. Hesitantly, I sunk my teeth into her and watch as she, Alec, and Jane started withering in pain.
"Brother, why did you save the other one?" asked Caius.
"She took two bullets for them. I figured they would be more accepting to us if I saved her as well." I reasoned.
He nodded and returned his gaze to our future Volturi members.
