Alec and Jane were wide eyed. Aro looked like I just slapped him in the face. I jumped out of the castle window and took off, despite the protests of Aro and my siblings. I ran and ran until I felt like I could pass out...mentally. I saw an unsuspecting human and drained him dry, making sure to dispose of the body.
