Afflicted

Chapter 9:

The machines are the only noise in

the room. Blue's eyes are bloodshot red. He holds Red's hand.

" Wake up baby. Don't leave me

now. You just came to me. I love you." He kissed her hand.

    Red has been

unconscious for 12 hours straight. Due to her scan, she has serious head trama.

It could lead to acoma. He's been waiting for her to wake up. He wants to ask

her something important. When he came to pick her up she was half naked. He

didn't want anyone to help her but himself.

" Uhm sir you know you don't

have to stay here?"

" Yes I have to. She's my

girlfriend."

" Okay. I understand. Well I'm

here to check her vital signs." He nods slowly. After the nurse is done he

decides to take a quick nap.

    An hour later he

wakes up and smells himself. He stinks. I can't smell like this when she wakes

up. She'll need some clothes anyways.

    Blue decides to go

and get them some clothes. He kisses her gently on the forehead and then

leaves.

    My dreams turn

from better to worse. Everything starts to crash and then rebuild. I try and

runaway from it but I just end up hitting a wall in front of me. Everything

goes black.

I wake up to bright lights.

" Glad that you're awake."

" Dad?!" My eyes grow big.

" Did you miss me?"

" No."

    I'm strapped to

something. My dad has on a doctor suit. I pull against my restraints.

" Oh. Where you trying to run

to?"

" What do you want?"

" I want to see your

insides." He laughs devilishly. I pull on my restraints harder.

" Help! Somebody help me!"

I scream.

" Scream all you want, no one
