𝘿𝘼𝙈𝘼𝙂𝙀𝘿 // 𝙢𝙞𝙩𝙘𝙝 𝙧𝙖𝙥𝙥

Chapter 1

Lainey smiled down at her 6 month baby bump.  she was on a vacation in Spain with her husband Noah.

They had  been together for five years they got married 3 years ago. He and this baby were Lainey's one family.

She had a rather good life until her parents died when she was 18, it was a house fire. They never made it out.

A year had passed and she bumped into Noah at a cafe, it led to a date followed by another and another until 5 years later, and lainey had felt as if she was the luckiest woman to live. Now even luckier she got to bring her own child into the world

Lainey and Noah were currently on a vacation in Barcelona Spain. It was apart of Noah's 5 year anniversary gift

Lainey walked out of the hotel room and down to the hall, she walked into the elevator and hit the ground floor. She felt the elevator whoosh down and felt the small kicks of her baby. She smiled down at her daughter. The elevator dinged open and she stepped out. She walked out of the lobby and found the bar beside the pool where her husband sat.

"Hey sweetie" Noah smiled
"Can I bet two of your best" he asked the Bar man "one virgin please?" He asked

"She's kicking today" Lainey said, a sigh escaped her lips "a lot" she added

"It's only 3 more months"  Noah smiled at his wife

"I can't wa-.." Before Lainey could finish the sentence a bullet had flown into the bar mans chest.  Her eyes widened and she was scared still. Screams emerged from all directions as people ran frantically from the continues gun shots

Noah turned to his wife "Go to your room now!" He yelled

She shook her head  "What about you" she asked in a panic

" I'll be fine go!" He Insisted, almost pushing her away

Lainey quickly ran as fast as she could but as She looked back for a split second, she felt as though she could die when she seen a bullet makes it way through we husbands head

"No!" Lainey let out a roaring sob.  She spotted a fallen gun, she picked it up and ran to her husband body

just as she was about to turn him over a loud bang rang in her ears. She looked up to the masked man, she pointed the gun toward him; her hands shook and she felt like she could vomit with fear, she couldn't do it, she couldn't shoot him, why couldn't sue shoot him.

Another loud bang rang through her ears, Lainey felt the pain soon follow. Looking down at her stomach she saw the crimson red that oozed from a while within

It was on the day that Lainey lost the two most important in people in her life; her husband and her unborn daughter

2 years later

A gasp ripped through Lainey's chest as she was pulled from the ruins of her nightmares, her mind had a nasty habit of poising her sleep; some days she'd sleep all days and some days she'd be awake for 12 hours or more. It all depended on her mind and how it would remember that dreaded day

Lainey  grabbed the bottle of pills on her nightstand, she took one from the small bottle and dropped it in her mouth; she grabbed the class Of day old water and swallowed it down with the pill.

She rubbed her face and left her cold bed, Lainey headed straight to her bathroom with the hope of washing her nightmare down the drain, some days she'd wish to go with it. She wished to cease to exist, disappear one day and never be questioned about why.
