And she is one of those foolish girls,
glimpsing the girl whom he twirls;
and she is such a foolish girl,
for believing that he is hers;
and she is such a foolish girl,
for falling for his manipulative ways;
and she is such a foolish girl,
for wanting him to keep her days;
and she is such a foolish girl,
for trying to stir him on the wrong path;
and she is such a foolish girl,
for trying to steal the heart his lover hath;
and she is such a foolish girl,
for trying to master whisking him away;
and she is such a foolish girl,
for trying to stir their roles in dismay;
but is she such a foolish girl,
for wanting to feel love from the heart?
But is she such a foolish girl,
for wanting to feel something while so far apart?
But is she such a foolish girl,
for trying to tear down the chamber of her hall?
But is she such a foolish girl,
if she knew when she flies she would also fall?
